Make it Monday #139 and Dynamic Duos #77

Stamped Square Frames - that is the theme at this week's Make it Monday. The talented Dawn shows in a video how to do that. Its easy and quick and the result is fabulous - I think!

I don't really have a border stamp from PTI, so I improvised - part of the fun!

I took the sentiment from the Papertrey set Cutting Garden and used it as a frame. The dies are also Papertrey  - Beautiful Blooms. The one with the ink on it was a leftover from some project I can't even remember. (You know what that means.......) - it goes into the Snippets Playground!

I added a silver paper candy in the center, which I colored with Copic. That works just fine and you don't need to buy them in all different colors. I mounted the white cardstock on a red card.

I chose the colors to fit this weeks Dynamic Duos Challenge
and I am also linking this up with Seize the Birthday - anything goes

Thank you for visiting my blog - I appreciate you taking the time - especially when you leave comments ;)

I do LOVE those! (Who doesn't!)

Fabulous card. Your sentiment is a perfect thing to use as a border stamp. I know that Tracey will love this bright and happy card. Thank you so much for joining in the linky birthday party for Tracey.

Clever, clever, as usual! To use a word stamp and make a frame! Have to go and look at my stamps with new eyes now...

This a fantastic technique! I love the look of the "framed" sentiment. Your embellishments are just perfect, too, the bright flower and glowing gem in the middle. Thanks for linking up with Dynamic Duos this week!
