My Favorite Things #147 and a Bunch of other Challenges

Another wreath card -

after I made the wreath card for the Festive Friday challenge, I discovered that the sketch from My Favorite Things is kind of similar to what I did, but did not quite cut it...But I like the card so much, that I decides to just make a second one, similar to the first.

MFTWSC147

Again I just two different kind of shimmer paper to cut the wreath - this time one of them was more glitzi. I underlayed the wreath with glitter paper - the bow is again from a paint swatch.

I added little dots of liquid pearls and a pearl for the bow.

The sentiment is from Mama Elephant Merry Greetings. Here in the close-up you can kind of see how the whole card just shimmers and glitters - it is very pretty. I think I like it even more than the fist card...

I am also linking this card up with

I got sooo many beautiful comments for my last wreath card - thank you so  much - which one do you like better?

Hi Cornelia . . . I love the look of this festive card.

Sorry, but I only allow ONE entry per person on Rudolph Day and this is your second! Please don't be offended, but I will need to delete this second entry from the challenge.

Hugs

AS Susanne says, both are fabulous cards Cornelia! If you held me dangling over a ravine by my ankles and threatened, I'd squeak that perhaps the first one has the edge by a gnat's whisker............. if only because I adore the sentiment. Anyone would be delighted with either for sure!

Hugs, Di xx

I'm in love with that bow - so perfect and so wonderfully bright red. Great design. (I like this better than the previous design, for what it's worth!)

Beautiful! I love all the shimmering + the elegant, almost white on white look with the red that really pops. Thanks for joining us at Inkspirational Challenges!

Beautiful elegant - love all the shine and shimmer! Thanks for joining us at Festive Friday!
Oh, I bet this is even prettier in real life! It's gorgeous! Thanks for sharing another one with us at Festive Friday!
This is a stunning card! I am always too chicken to focus on white as my main color, but you've proved that white can certainly make a powerful statement! I adore the elegance of this card and am amazed at what you did with the liquid pearls! Very impressive and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!

Another lovely design, Cornelia!!! Wish I had more time to do what you did here...I often make one card and am inspired to used the same element or image in a little different way on another…usually just don't have time for it! Beautiful! Love the glitter!!!

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car

Mirror Image Stamping with So Suzy and the MISTI

Hi Everyone, I am so happy to be part of this wonderful event - the collaboration between So Suzy and the MISTI from My Sweet Petunia doing mirror image stamping.  This event is going on for the ENTIRE  MONTH! We are demonstrating the  Mirror Image Stamp    which coordinates with the Misti Stamping Tool! All month long, different bloggers will post a card using the  Mirror Image Stamp .  In my tutorial today, I will show you how use the  Mirror Image Stamp  on your cards. You can basically double your stamp supplies that way! The  mirror image stamp  is  a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of red rubber with no foam backing. So much larger than the other mirror image stamps out there and therefore much more useful! Mirror Image stamp ,  Two Cats in a Tree If you want a video tutorial on how to do this I can highly recommend you watch THIS VIDEO on youtube. Explains it all in very little time! Or you can see the same thing on my photo tutorial. With mirror
