So Suzy - Dandelion

Hi Everyone,

I am back today with another card I made with those wonderful stamps So Suzy carries.

I love this dandelion stamp. Never mind that I have a lot of dandelion stamps already, but I could not resist that one.  It also come with those 4 little seed pods.

I masked a strip on the left side of my card and sponged distress inks in an ombre pattern. Over stamped the dandelion in the darkest blue and added the little seed pods.

I took a gel pen and drew in white accents.

I took my Misti and stamped the sentiment - it is by Audrey Hepburn in white. I then moved the card a smidgen and stamped it again in black. This way you can read the sentiment much better.

Lastly I added Stickles to get some sparkle.

Can we say, brilliant. Well, I can and will. Love the overstamping of the sentiment to make it easier to read but adore the ombre blending and the awesome way you coordinated the seed pod coloring...as I said, brilliant.

Each successive dendelion is simply necessary :-)) I also love the theme. Your card is beautiful. I love the feeling of lightness, which gives a stamp dendelion. I also double stamping sentiment, you're right, the text more readable. I also love the glow that you've added to the card. All together creates a unique card.

I'm with you on dandelions, Cornelia! I must have ten different dandelion stamps and now I want to own this one, too! It's pure delight as is the amazing design you have created! The white has made the sweet puff flowers standout against the brilliant blues and the way you did your off-set sediment is just genius!! Thank you so much for the inspiration and for playing in my NBUS Challenge #7! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers

Combined So Suzy and The Ton Blog Hop

Hi Everyone, I am sooooo excited to be part of this amazing event - a combined hop between So Suzy Stamps and The Ton! I have been eyeing The Ton stamps and dies for quite a while - they are just gorgeous! And So Suzy - well you have seen their stamps on my blog - they are simply fabulous! I also love that they are made from rubber - its different stamping with them. Its much better for generational stamping and they don't stick to your paper when you use your Misti. You may have arrived from the fabulous  Eunji - its a hard act to follow her.... I got those gorgeous  Peonies Dies  from The Ton and die cut them with water color paper. Spritzed Dylusion inks on a sheet of plastic and dipped the dies into the colors. Mounted them onto black card stock. Added the So Suzy Birthday sentiment - heat embossed in white. Lastly I added a strip of envelope liner paper at the bottom. Here are my supplies: So Suzy Birthday sentiment ,  Peo...
