So Suzy Love Birds

Hi Everyone,

there are still some stamps from the last So Suzy Stamps release that I need to ink up - today I decided on the Love Birds.

My stamp supplies:

I secured the card stock on the Bullseye stencil and sponged it in rainbow distress inks.

Stamped the love birds on it.

Colored the lovebirds in grey and added white Sharpie accents. Die cut it with a round stitched die.

I then used my Misti to stamp the sentiment - you see there is some gap, since the image is raised.

I moved the image away and stamped the sentiment again. I then glued the image onto the card stock. and since it was a little off center (tsk, tsk, tsk...) I simply cut of a trip of the card stock and added a striped piece of patterned paper to make  up for it.

I am loving my bullseye rainbow love birds - what do you think?

Happy Stamping!

I think you're brilliant, that's what I think. Especially after seeing how you enhanced the lovebirds with the rainbow stenciling. Love the treatment of the sentiment, too. Just an awesome effort.

And we are celebrating this wonderful occasion with a special blog hop! You may have arrived from the wonderful Giada , our Italian contingent :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY Suzanne! Added lots of splatters and the heat embossed sentiment Your next stop on the hop is the talented Henriette - you are going to love her card! And just in case you get lost - below are all the participants listed. Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. Addicted to Stamps and More #134 and Spotlight Sneak Peek

Hi Everyone, Its challenge time at  ATSM ! For the next two week its going to be CAS - just my thing! And hopefully yours, too! I made a birthday card, because for some reason I always need more and never seem to have enough.... I was inspired by this weeks Make it Monday , where the talented  Ashley Newell  shows us a video about  stamps and doodling. Since I  mainly own die cuts from Papertrey and not so many stamps that would fit this theme I made my own out of fun foam, using my latest Papertrey dies (just got the order a few days ago) and cut those in fun foam - it works so well - voila - you have our own stamps, spending only a fraction of the money! I doodled around the stamps as you can see. Gives you kind of a cool effect....a little more tremor and one would think I drank too much ;) Added tiny enamel dots - do you know about this month House of Cards challenge - its enamel dots - thought I'll let you know.....
