STAMPlorations Birthday Hop

Hi Everyone, STAMPlorations  is turning 4!!! And that is one big reason to celebrate! Amazing how this little company has grown - all due to the dedication, hard work and incredibly creative mind of Shery Russ - the owner and driving force behind it! It has been such an honor to stay on the DT almost since the beginnings. I think I never will grow tired of it :) Today is the last day of this amazing blog hop ! And here are my cards showcasing some of the new products: This gorgeous stamp is called  Blossom Sprays #3, designed by Deepti. I colored it lightly and added a generous amount of Wink of Stella - you can see it better in the obliqued photo. Die cut the word die and raised it with die cut fun foam. The border is the stitched nesting die . For my second card I used the  Radiant Roses from the In Bloom Series. Water colored it and added spatters. I used the same "beautiful" die cut as on my first card and also die cut the...

So Suzy Love Birds

Hi Everyone, there are still some stamps from the last  So Suzy Stamps  release that I need to ink up - today I decided on the  Love Birds . My stamp supplies: Love Birds ,  Miss You Bullseye iStencil I secured the card stock on the Bullseye stencil and sponged it in rainbow distress inks. Stamped the love birds on it. Colored the lovebirds in grey and added white Sharpie accents. Die cut it with a round stitched die. I then used my Misti to stamp the sentiment - you see there is some gap, since the image is raised. I moved the image away and stamped the sentiment again. I then glued the image onto the card stock. and since it was a little off center (tsk, tsk, tsk...) I simply cut of a trip of the card stock and added a striped piece of patterned paper to make  up for it. I am loving my bullseye rainbow love birds - what do you think? Happy Stamping! Muse Christmas Visions

Hi Everyone, the linky list over at  Muse Christmas Vision  is closing soon.... You really should join us! Chriss Blagrave made such a whimsical card - so stimulating and FUN to CASE! Now this is my take on it: This is  Chriss' card : I basically just grouped a bunch of trees in similar colors - they are from Neat&Tangled. I put some Stickles on top for some Christmas bling. You can make a card like this in under 10 minutes.  I already saw some amazing cards on our linky list! Go and check it out! Hope you'll find time to  play along with us  this month.  The linky list will be active until June 28th. Happy Holiday Card Making!

Oh Frap!

Hi Everyone, I can't not play in the current Coffee Lovers Blog Hop......  so I pulled out my favorite CUTplorations die and paired it up with my favorite stamp set - the Katzelkraft rats. And then I remembered it has to have a summer theme - rats, I thought and added some flowers - why not - created a summer meadow with a rat and her frappucino. My supplies: rat - Katzelkraft  dies - CUTplorations all other stamps - STAMPlorations Linking up with; Coffee Lovers Summer blog Hop Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Skipping Stones Design - Let it Be

Hi Everyone, I am over at the  Skipping Stones Design blog  today with my card, using this beautiful set called Let it Be This is the set: Don't you love the chevron butterfly? I sure do!  I first heat embossed it in gold and then stamped it in black and fuzzy cut it. I water colored around the edges of the butterfly. Let it dry and added black splatters. Wrapped gold embroidery thread around the black butterflies waist and mounted it with a thin strip of foam tape for extra dimension. I hope you liked this! Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! CASE this Sketch #226

Hi Everyone, I had to play with those stamps - they are by Local King Rubber Stamp. I knew it as soon as I saw this weeks CASE this Sketch The other option would have been a bat....I thinks its a Bush Baby, just had to hang him from its tail... I used the matching die for it. That made it easy. Added an enamel dot. Also added some light grey shadow for more dimension. Happy Stamping!  Also linking up with: ATSM - Make your mark - happy birthday to you!!!!

STAMPlorations Inspiration #139

Hi Everyone, its inspiration time at  STAMPlorations ! This week we are featuring Deepti's stamp line  Dee's Artsy Impressions . My stamp supplies:    Frames and Flowers , Balloons and Banners This is my take on Piet Mondrian - a painter I greatly admire. This card does not do him justice. But it was super easy. Randomly stamp the frame and then color in the overlaps. Used Faber Castell Big markers for this. Added the sentiment. It turned put to be quite masculine - a nice side effect, grin! From June 20 to 26, all DAI stamps are 10% off (no coupon needed) + 2 DAI stamp sets (Frames and Flowers & Best Mom Ever) are 20% off (no coupon needed) Or even better use  code STAMPGIRLCORNELIA to get 20% off on all stamps, stencils, and dies on all regular- and sale-priced items in the store. Happy Dad Day

Hi Everyone, I made that card a little while back and did not have time to post it yet. Alas, the time has come! I first sponged the border at the bottom. I cut the happy with a Cutplorations die. I then stamped the bird and water colored him. The bird is by Katzelkraft, as I am sure you all know. Added the sentiment and some splatters and Nuvo drops.
