Smart Ass

Hi Everyone,
It's Katzelkraft time!

I got a big, fat Hermes catalog in my mail. Not sure how they got my address. but they must be utterly confused as high fashion is not ever on my radar... but it had some pretty pictures in it and I hate to throw things out. And the only thing I ever think of is how I can turn things into cards....Well here we go!
I added the pig and the donkey from the new animal set. Colored them and fussy cut them. The sentiment caused me a bit of a headache, but I finally settled on the word smart and not having one in my huge stash of stamps I printed it out on my computer....

If you feel the urge to buy any Katzelkraft products, you can also order them in the US from those companies: Topflight StampsFrantic Stamper or Lost Coast Designs

Happy Stamping!

First...LOVE the sentiment. I have a serious crush on both the donkey and pig so this card is right up my alley. Clever to use the catalog page for the background. Really makes those animals pop.

Great recycling, Cornelia. The stamped, coloured and cut creatures are great and have great humour. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week.
Love this Cornelia - fabulous layering of images to create your picture, it reminds me of a scene from Animal Farm! Thanks for playing along with my theme challenge over at The Paper Players this week!

So cute! I often wonder how my name got on the DeBeers mailing list. Maybe there is a Da Beers list out there that I was supposed to be on.

Great way to use your images and so nicely executed. Thanks for sharing with us at Shopping Our Stash!

Hugz,
Chana

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Some more Christmas Cards...

Hi Everyone, there still are some Christmas cards  I made awhile ago and have not yet posted.... This one I made for the  Runway Inspired Challenge . The inspiration photo is below. I found it a little tricky to make this into a Christmas card, but with the help  of Neat&Tangled stamps it worked....The stitched dies are by Simon Says. Added some Washi tape on top (the headdress) and silver glitter paper at the bottom (the floor and silver shoes) and voila a Christmas card! My second card I made with an iStencil, gold embossing paste, faux pearls, an enamel dot and lots of splatters. The stitched die I cut the Kraft panel with is by Simon Says. I love this stencil and stenciled cards are just so quick and easy to make. I used this one for several cards this year, on of which you can see HERE . http://www.istencils.com/store/products/22-00029 I am linking up this card with: Stamps and fun=Creativity - Christmas U...
