JOY CLAIR - DIEVERSIONS & DL ART BLOG HOP

Joy Clair - DieVersions & DL Art Blog Hop

We here at Joy Clair have collaborated with two awesome companies: DieVersions and DL.ART to come up with a fun and festive Celebration Blog Hop. We want to showcase how well our three companies products work together. Joy Clair makes high quality clear stamps; Die-Versions makes very intricate and lovely dies and DL.ART makes gorgeous rayon hand dyed crinkle ribbon and also carries bakers twine and other hand crafted seasonal supplies.

The Celebration Blog Hop will take place on Wednesday, May 18th, Thursday, May 19th and Friday, May 20th. Over the three days all Design Team Members will be sharing with you projects they have made for all the many upcoming Celebrations that come around this time of year, ie....Weddings, Baby Showers, Baby Births, Graduations, Father's Day, and of course Birthdays! All Design Team Members will be using supplies from all three companies to make their projects so you can see for yourself how lovely these products work together and how dies, stamps and ribbons are the perfect combination!!

Well, both my graduation cards don't need much of an explanation. Took paint chips for the die cuts. Heat embossed my sentiment and added little strips of striped paper (an envelope liner - upcycled). Added splatters to the male card and sequins to the female card and adorned both with that beautiful crinkly ribbon. I usually don't use ribbons on my cards - mainly, because I can't make pretty bows.... but those are real easy!!! Even I could do it! What a fantastic product!

For my baby card I die cut the cute booties twice in purple - comes out more blue in the photo and tied the together with that wonderful ribbon. Stamped the sentiment on PP and added sequins.

My supplies:
Joy Clair - Oh Baby
Whispers - Graduation CameosWhispers - Baby Girl Bootie

Joy Clair is giving three gift cards of $25 dollars of the Joy Clair Store. One for each day! Die -Versions is giving away a $50 00 Gift Certificate to the Die-Versions store. DL.ART is running a 3 day Special during the Blog Hop for all of the Design Team Followers ~ 12% off your entire order at DL.ART by using code: DJDHOPS ~ this code will only be valid on the 3 days of the Celebration Blog Hop.
There will be prizes for those who comment on all the blogs over the three days and who become followers of all the blogs. The prizes will be announced on all three of the companies blogs: Joy Clair, Die-Versions and DL.ART blogs on Sunday, May 22.

Could you be any more clever? I'm sure you'll astound me, once again. But using paint chips to achieve that ombre look is freaking brillliant. I bow to the master. All three cards are terrific and your bows look great.

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car

Mirror Image Stamping with So Suzy and the MISTI

Hi Everyone, I am so happy to be part of this wonderful event - the collaboration between So Suzy and the MISTI from My Sweet Petunia doing mirror image stamping.  This event is going on for the ENTIRE  MONTH! We are demonstrating the  Mirror Image Stamp    which coordinates with the Misti Stamping Tool! All month long, different bloggers will post a card using the  Mirror Image Stamp .  In my tutorial today, I will show you how use the  Mirror Image Stamp  on your cards. You can basically double your stamp supplies that way! The  mirror image stamp  is  a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of red rubber with no foam backing. So much larger than the other mirror image stamps out there and therefore much more useful! Mirror Image stamp ,  Two Cats in a Tree If you want a video tutorial on how to do this I can highly recommend you watch THIS VIDEO on youtube. Explains it all in very little time! Or you can see the same thing on my photo tutorial. With mirror
