Make It Monday #148 and Stamplorations

When I saw this weeks Make It Monday I first thought there is something wrong with my eyes....sorry, Dawn, but it just looked blurry to me...But then I gave it a try at home and I was thrilled to see the result! The topic is Generation Stamping with Line Images & Multiple Colors - and Dawn McVey is doing a great video about this over at Make It Monday with all the explanation you need!

I did not have any Papertrey stamps that I could use with this technique, so I took the diamond from the Hero Arts set So Kind for the generational stamping. I filled them with the little diamonds from the Happy Harlequin stamp set byPapertrey. The sentiment is Papertrey -  Cutting Garden.

I really love the result of it. It looks so much better in real life than on the picture. It has real dimension!

And then it inspired me to make a second card:

I used my brand new Stamplorations stamp sets - the generational stamping I did with the square from Patchwork Frenzy. The feather are from Trendy Feathers, as is the sentiment.

The little squiggle I added from the Papertrey set Happy Trails. And of course - sequins..... I am just wondering what I did before sequins......

Do you see that there is text on the feather? That should qualify for the Keep it Simple challenge this month

The theme is TEXT!

And of course this card will participate in this month Stamplorations challenge - Stamps and feathers
One Layer Simplicity challenge - Restock your Shelves - can never have too many thinking of you cards - especially with Valentine's day around the corner
Simon Says Monday challenge - Anything goes
and lastly CAS(E) this Sketch - I just turned the sketch around

Great mixing of PTI and non-PTI stamps, Cornelia! If one didn't read your post, you'd think it was all one set on your first card. And I do like this stamping technique with a more linear image like your diamond. Gives it a more "artsy" and less "blurry" look I think. Well done!

Two great CAS cards!
I love the pattern you created for your first card, it's equally perfect for a card for a woman as for a man.
And those feather stamps on your second card and color blocks - WOW! I love feathers, and it's a beautiful CAS design!

Sensational works of art, Cornelia! You've intrigued me with that MIM now; I thought it just looked blurry, too, but now I'll go check it out if I have time.

Thank you for the head's up about the "Stamps and Feathers" challenge at Stamplorations for my Tweet Birthday card!! Hugs, Darnell

Cornelia, thanks for even more gorgeousness entered in the One-Layer Simplicity Challenge! I adore all these cards and love how you took the technique and ran with it. The two sequins on the feather card are particularly brilliant!

Girl...you totally rocked this challenge. What a fabulous card!
This cards are absolutely stunning! I am NOT good at keeping things simple and my cards are usually too fat to even fit in an envelope, so I truly admire people who can make such beautiful cards with just a couple of amazing techniques and a color or two. The energy of these cards was so inspiring and I wanted to try out these techniques for myself. You really have a great artistic eye and it was a pleasure to see your work! Thank you so much for sharing these beauties with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car
