Katzelkraft - The Rats are Escaping!

Hi Everyone,

it's Katzelkraft Wednesday!

I went to a craft fair on Saturday and there I saw a cool stencil from Colorful Life Designs that unfortunately was to big for an A2 card. But it got me the idea for this card. I made my own NYC sewer manhole cover and what better than having the rats come out of it?

I made the manhole cover with a Lifestyle Crafts embossing folder and circle die cuts.
The NYC sewer I printed on my computer. The sentiment is by Technique Tuesday.

Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration!

If you feel the urge to buy any Katzelkraft products, you can also order them in the US from those companies: Lost Coast DesignsTopflight Stamps or Frantic Stamper

Happy Stamping!

Obwohl diese Ratten fürchterlich aussehen, sind Deine Rattenkarten immer lustig und erfreuen das Auge.

I so love les Rats but I have to admit that this idea makes my skin crawl, lol. When I had a shop, my friend and I were in one hot day, with the door open, when suddenly I saw what I thought was a cat walk in through the door - it wasn't, it was a RAT! A huge rat that looked like a tabby cat! My brave friend shooed it out of the door with a brush and then put a notice on the door saying, 'No rats allowed!' I still shudder when I remember that day :-(
Great design and beautifully done, as ever!

Is it me or does putting sewer rats on a card make you a genius. And that manhole cover is the perfect backdrop for this vermin.
I am still giggling over this one. Your work is always so uplifting with humor.

We were in NY last year and saw exactly that! A rat coming up out of a drain. It creeped me out!

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car
