Combined So Suzy and The Ton Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,

I am sooooo excited to be part of this amazing event - a combined hop between So Suzy Stamps and The Ton!

I have been eyeing The Ton stamps and dies for quite a while - they are just gorgeous! And So Suzy - well you have seen their stamps on my blog - they are simply fabulous! I also love that they are made from rubber - its different stamping with them. Its much better for generational stamping and they don't stick to your paper when you use your Misti.

You may have arrived from the fabulous Eunji - its a hard act to follow her....

I got those gorgeous Peonies Dies from The Ton and die cut them with water color paper. Spritzed Dylusion inks on a sheet of plastic and dipped the dies into the colors. Mounted them onto black card stock. Added the So Suzy Birthday sentiment - heat embossed in white. Lastly I added a strip of envelope liner paper at the bottom.

Here are my supplies:

Petal Cut Peonies Standalone Dies

I also made a second card with the same supplies:

I used the peonie dies to make a stencil and sponged in pink and red and added a left over leaf from my first card as well as an enamel dot. What you can't see is that I used clear embossing paste over my stencil - it make the image look crisper.

Your next stop on the hop is Jenny Lee - she has an amazing card for you in store! If you get lost - just go back to So Suzy or The Ton and you'll get the complete hop order there.

The hop will go until November 23rd, the winner will be announced November 25th for Black Friday Shopping . The amazing prizes: $25 GC So Suzy Stamps, $25 The Ton and Bunkie Bag

Happy Hopping!

Here are all the stops on the hop:

Love the creative techniques you used for coloring. I hope the other posters clicked on the photos to make them larger so they could see how amazing the cards are. Once I had clicked on the second card photo, I could see the embossing effect on the edges of the blossoms. Very cool!

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car
