Skipping Stones Design July Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,

I am so excited - guess what - I got onto the Skipping Stones DT! Yeahh!!! I was over the moon, when Heather Timmins asked me to join! Of course I said YES!! I had so much fun using their stamps (especially those snarky ones) with the Blogs for Boobies Hop! and now - more fun in the future!

Now, since this is a blog hop - you probably arrived from the very talented Tanja Kabel.

This cute bird is from the set Best of Birds. I made him a rainbow sponged background. The musical notes and the hello are from the same set.

I fuzzy cut the bird. The frame I die cut (Simon Says) and the speech bubble is a punch (EK success)

Your next stop on the hop is Jessie Knigthrone - she has an amazing card waiting for you.
In case you get lost - just go back to Skipping Stones Design and you'll find the complete list there.
You can win a new stamp set of your choice by commenting on each blog along the way. For extra chances subscribe to the Skipping Stones Blog.

Happy hopping!

Well, congratulations...this is fantastic. And so is the card created for your first DT assignment. Obviously, they are lucky to get you. Love those beautiful rays. So gorgeous. I just admire your fussy cutting skills so much. You must be such a patient person...something that wasn't offered in my gene pool.

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. Hi Everyone, I have a very special card for you today - a birthday card for Suzanne, the owner and talented force behind So Suzy Stamps! And we are celebrating this wonderful occasion with a special blog hop! You may have arrived from the wonderful Giada , our Italian contingent :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY Suzanne! I used the Blowing Butterflies  (heat embossed in gold)  and the Birthday Wishes  to create my card. I cut myself a gold frame from glitter paper and added a water color wash. I opened the frame on the side to have the butterflies and color spill out. Added lots of splatters and the heat embossed sentiment Your next stop on the hop is the talented Henriette - you are going to love her card! And just in case you get lost - below are all the participants listed. Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fiftee...
