Muse #151

Hi Everyone,

I have not played with the Muse challenge in a while, even that I really wanted to play along, but tonight I finally managed to make a card for the current challenge. Michele Ferguson made this cool, graphic card and I immediately knew what die I  would use to CASE her card:

It's a  Marianne die, I used it last year a couple of times. I just love it -it reminds me about the LOVE sculpture by Robert Indiana. Oops, just read this weeks requirements....

Well I am not into pop songs - no way I can guess Michele's song... can you guess mine? Actually its not a song, its a piano piece written by someone long dead. He never married, was kind of grumpy - got enough hints?

Here is Michele's fun card:

I just added some washi tape and an enamel dot.

So, not sure if I still can play along, but what the heck - this is card making and not song guessing... ;)
I'm linking it up!

I adore your LOVE card, Cornelia! The inlaid heart, the washi tape edges...crushing all over this! This doesn't need a song to accompany it at all; it's a winner all on its own!

It's definitely a winner, whether it qualifies or not. Love everything about it, the colors, the die, the whole design and, of course, the embellishments. Like swanlady21, haven't a clue who your grumpy man is.

CLEVER! Same, but different. Trying to think of the music. I think Beethoven was married. I know Mozart was. Glad you joined us this week, Cornelia!

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers

Some more Christmas Cards...

Hi Everyone, there still are some Christmas cards  I made awhile ago and have not yet posted.... This one I made for the  Runway Inspired Challenge . The inspiration photo is below. I found it a little tricky to make this into a Christmas card, but with the help  of Neat&Tangled stamps it worked....The stitched dies are by Simon Says. Added some Washi tape on top (the headdress) and silver glitter paper at the bottom (the floor and silver shoes) and voila a Christmas card! My second card I made with an iStencil, gold embossing paste, faux pearls, an enamel dot and lots of splatters. The stitched die I cut the Kraft panel with is by Simon Says. I love this stencil and stenciled cards are just so quick and easy to make. I used this one for several cards this year, on of which you can see HERE . http://www.istencils.com/store/products/22-00029 I am linking up this card with: Stamps and fun=Creativity - Christmas U...
