Make It Monday #126: 3D Die-cut Sentiments

This is the coolest technique! You have to check out Betsy Veldman's video over at Make it Monday! She made the coolest card!!!! The die she used lend it self a little better to the technique than the one I used here, but it did come out okay I think......although the technique is a little tricky - takes some practice....

There is no stamping on the card - I never made one of those....

I continued the 3-D strip in the background, this added additional dimension. I just love this technique!
Materials: Papertrey Hello Die, Memory Box Chloe Stem die, Copics

I hope you are not getting sick and tired looking at my vacation pictures - but if you are, don't scroll down any further :) - there are some more..... This time they all show store signs in my hometown:

I hope you enjoyed them, have a great day!

You're 'hello' came together brilliantly! Bold and bright is the perfect option for this technique. Also love the white die cut on the 3D. And who could be tired of those beautiful vacation photos? My son visited Germany and Austria and loved it!

I love your card! The way you continued the green for the matting is super, too!

You're right! The coolest technique! Love your card! I think the next time it will be better!
And omg! I adore your hometown!!! So beautiful!! Why have you ever move to NJ?!!!! Lol!

Your card is super sweet! I love the addition of the white silhouette flower. All the signs from your vacation were fun to look at too.

You should be so proud of this card. Betsy's tutorial, as always, is a thing of beauty, but when you look at the cards that have been posted, it's clear to see that this is no easy technique to master. It is very clear that you worked very carefully, as well as having chosen a wonderful palette. Kudos!

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car
