CAS- Colours & Sketches

Unfortunately I missed the shades of grey challenge at Less is More, since I just came back from vacation, but I liked the idea and thought I apply it for the CAS Colours and Sketches challenge, that is going on right now. I am warming up to the idea of playing in sketch challenges - something I found very restrictive in the past.... so here is my card - CAS, but it took me a while to get it look right. I mostly struggled with the sentiment, till I finally settled on the TAWS Jibber Jabber set. The little heart is elevated with foam dots.

I hope you like it!

And now as promised I'll show you more pictures from Germany - they are all taken in Munich. the first two are taken in the Karl Valentin Museum. Karl Valentin was a Bavarian comediancabaret performer, clownauthor and film producer. Valentin starred in many silent films in the 1920s, and was sometimes called the "Charlie Chaplin of Germany".

More pics in my next post - have a great day!

More fabulous photos...thank you for sharing. Your card is amazing, I had to take a second look at it because of the different grays, at first I thought your card was clear...just beautiful.

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Dandelion and Christmas Trees

Hi  Everyone, I am getting tired of making Christmas cards.... I needed a break from them. I love the inspiration picture for the current Sunday stamps challenge , so I pulled out my ancient Hero Arts stamp to make this card.  The sentiment is by Unity stamps. Did some masking and sponging. I also performed a little surgery on my stamp, as those falling dandelion seeds are attached to the main stamp. Just a little cut with my Exacto knife and I set them free! I am also linking up with: Mod Squad Challenge  - Anything but Christmas (exactly how I feel....) Happy Little Stampers Dec CAS Challenge   -  Favorite Technique (sponging is my favorite)    But I do have a Christmas card for you, in fact I  made two - they are slightly different - do you see it? My materials are: tree dies - Papertrey, sentiment - Simon Says stamps, some punches, gingham stamp - Stampin' up, PP cut with a die by Paper Smooches, added a little bit of Stickles to the tre
