Dreaming about Paris with Carabelle Studio

  Hi Everyone,

This week we are featuring Carabelle Studio on the Topflight blog
I started out with stamping the Eiffel Tower first. I then sponged the background with distress inks. Stamped the Katzelkraft flowers with slightly darker colors. Brushed some water onto some of the flowers and dabbed it off with a paper towel. That took some of the ink away, lightening the flowers. Stamped the little hearts. Trimmed the card and added a matching strip of patterned paper at the bottom.
I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.
See you next week with more Topflight Stamps inspiration.

And here are the stamp supplies I used:

Paris                Hibiscus
(not exactly the same flower set, but would work as well)

Paris reizt mich nicht so sher. Da ist mir Berlin lieber oder Bangkog!
Deine Karte vermittelt heftig fernweh und Reisefieber. Aber wer möchte jetzt schon weit reisen oder gar fliegen? Ich nicht.

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

And we are celebrating this wonderful occasion with a special blog hop! You may have arrived from the wonderful Giada , our Italian contingent :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY Suzanne! I used the Blowing Butterflies  (heat embossed in gold)  and the Birthday Wishes  to create my card. I cut myself a gold frame from glitter paper and added a water color wash. I opened the frame on the side to have the butterflies and color spill out. Added lots of splatters and the heat embossed sentiment Your next stop on the hop is the talented Henriette - you are going to love her card! And just in case you get lost - below are all the participants listed. You even can get lucky and win a $20 gift certificate for So Suzy Stamps - sponsored by Justine and a  Bunkie Bag from Simply Charming Everyday, but you have to le...

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fiftee...
