Inkspirational challenge - Warm and Fuzzy Cat

Hi Everybody,

I had to paly along with the current Inkspirational challenge (see inspiration picture below).

Besides that I was itching to ink up my new stamp purchase - those Snarky Christmas Cats from Tim Holtz (Stampers Anonymous). I used a polaroid embossing folder, that I inked up with a brayer, but then I didn't like the outside of it, so I just cut it away. I colored the cat with Inktense pencils. Those photo corners are an ancient punch from Martha Stewart.

Instaed of teh tree in the picture I made a green background and took the color clues from the picture.

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs. I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers. I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the Mandala Magic stencil from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest. Stamped the sentiment and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes. The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286, Whatchamacallit - KTZ276 (FRANCE) Spiral Borders - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration. Some more Christmas Cards...

Hi Everyone, there still are some Christmas cards I made awhile ago and have not yet posted.... This one I made for the Runway Inspired Challenge . The inspiration photo is below. I found it a little tricky to make this into a Christmas card, but with the help of Neat&Tangled stamps it worked....The stitched dies are by Simon Says. Added some Washi tape on top (the headdress) and silver glitter paper at the bottom (the floor and silver shoes) and voila a Christmas card! My second card I made with an iStencil, gold embossing paste, faux pearls, an enamel dot and lots of splatters. The stitched die I cut the Kraft panel with is by Simon Says. I love this stencil and stenciled cards are just so quick and easy to make.
