Inkspirational challenge - Warm and Fuzzy Cat

Hi Everybody, I had to paly along with the current Inkspirational challenge (see inspiration picture below). Besides that I was itching to ink up my new stamp purchase - those Snarky Christmas Cats from Tim Holtz (Stampers Anonymous). I used a polaroid embossing folder, that I inked up with a brayer, but then I didn't like the outside of it, so I just cut it away. I colored the cat with Inktense pencils. Those photo corners are an ancient punch from Martha Stewart. Instaed of teh tree in the picture I made a green background and took the color clues from the picture. Topflight Stamps - Happy New Year

Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  This week we focus on New Year cards.  Lets just hope  2021 will be better than 2020.... I started out with one page from the  Dots to Diamonds Paper Pad  for the background. I used  Blender Brushes  to create the ombre gradient. I stamped the little Zini on scrap paper twice and colored it with markers. I made it a bit taller than it is in real life. Fuzzy cut it. Stamped the sentiment on another piece of scrap paper and used it to cover up the  "defect" in my Zini. Added the gemstones. I hope you liked this! See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. Here are the stamp supplies I used: Use code  F UNSTAMPING   to get 12% discount at  Topflight Stamps .     Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. This time its a Christmas card - we are getting closer, not much more time...... I got inspired by a fantastic card by Karin Aslund, that I saw on the Katzelkraft Facebook page I made the snowdrifts with a landscape die (Stamplorations). Masked the moon and sponged with distress oxide inks. Added the Santa with the reindeers . Stamped the frog and the presents. Colored them with watercolors and markers. Added the scarf to the frog - I fuzzy cut it out. The stamps I used are from the following sets: Katzelkraft Frogs  -   KTZ235,  Accessories - KTZ156    (France) Katzelkraft Frogs  -   KTZ235,  Accessories -  KTZ156    (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  If you feel the urge to buy any Katzelkraft products, you can also order them in the US from those companies:  Topflight Stamps ,  Lost Coast ...

Happy Holidays with a Silly Snowman

Hi Everyone, I am in major Christmas card mood and I thought I give the color combo from JUGS a try. Its green, navy and purple. I could not upload the picture - ever since blogger changed I have a hard time with that. I am wondering if I am the only one who has problems.... Probably not....  I took the circle die from My Favorite Things out of hiding and added the jolly snowman from Funky Fossil Designs to the center. Colored him with navy and purple, but I couldn't resist giving him an orange nose. This was super easy to make. Perhaps I'll make a few of them, in case my card stash won't be sufficient. Happy Stamping! Embossed Christmas Card Trio

Hi Everyone, I was having fun with an embossing folder I bought a long time ago and so far have not used. Besides that I needed to use those two dies again - there can't be a year without them. I actually intended to play in the Christmas Kickstart challenge with my first card, but then I discovered that it requires stamping, oh well. Plenty of other challenges around to throw in this card. I could have added a sentiment, but I didn't want to. Clearly not necessary. The embossing folder is from Mundart Stempel - a Swiss company. The fun Santa and reindeer are from Dixi Crafts. I inked up the embossing folder with a brayer and ran it through my Big Shot. My blogging friend Coni from Which Craft?   reminded me about his technique. Its fun and works like a charm. I made the background panel the same way. the die cuts are by Poppy Dies. I used shimmer paper in black for my last card. the sentiment is by Dylusions stamps. Trimmed teh panel and added Washi tape on the si...
