Funky Fossil - Let it Snow!

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are enjoying my Christmas card marathon....

Here i made a card with Funky Fossil Designs  new Festive Penguins set. I also used one of the  new stencils.  This one is called Scandi quilt. It is just perfect for the Holidays!

Here is the complete set:

I started out with using clear embossing paste and the stencil. After it had dried completely, I sponged distress oxide ink from top to bottom to create the ombre effect. I stamped and colored the penguin and cut it out, including those little antlers. Heat embossed the sentiment and assembled everything as you can see.

I hope you liked this.

And since its Black Friday Funky fossil Designs offers you a 20% discount with code SAVE20

Happy Stamping!

How could anyone dislike a penguin with purple antlers? Love these precious, chubby critters and especially when they're surrounded with this beautiful blue background.

This card looks as if it could be a brilliant Christmas jumper design Cornelia! I love the way you've used the little penguin on skates and set him against that gorgeous paste and ink stencilled background. I love Funky Fossil stencils too and am building up quite a collection! Vicky x

I opened the frame on the side to have the butterflies and color spill out. Added lots of splatters and the heat embossed sentiment Your next stop on the hop is the talented Henriette - you are going to love her card! And just in case you get lost - below are all the participants listed. Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Addicted to Stamps and More #134 and Spotlight Sneak Peek

Hi Everyone, Its challenge time at  ATSM ! For the next two week its going to be CAS - just my thing! And hopefully yours, too! I made a birthday card, because for some reason I always need more and never seem to have enough.... I was inspired by this weeks Make it Monday , where the talented  Ashley Newell  shows us a video about  stamps and doodling. Since I  mainly own die cuts from Papertrey and not so many stamps that would fit this theme I made my own out of fun foam, using my latest Papertrey dies (just got the order a few days ago) and cut those in fun foam - it works so well - voila - you have our own stamps, spending only a fraction of the money! I doodled around the stamps as you can see. Gives you kind of a cool effect....a little more tremor and one would think I drank too much ;) Added tiny enamel dots - do you know about this month House of Cards challenge - its enamel dots - thought I'll let you know.....
