Twofer Challenge #14

Hi Everyone,

have you been waiting for my Twofer entry? I hope so ;)

Well, here it is:

I figured, since I had time constraints to utilize past labor for this. A while back I had made that happy birthday card - actually I made two of them for the twins of a friend of mine and I had waited for an opportunity to show them. Thanks to Twofer that moment is here! But I still needed a second card - and you saw that yesterday - I hope the Twofer people don't mind.... Anyhow, if they do, they can discard my entry....

So I re-purposed the balloon and turned it into boulders. Added different animals.

And here you can see all cards separately. Debby Hughes inspired my with her coloring, although she does a much better job than I do....

The cute monster is from the set Monster Hugs from Simon Says Stamps (a Concord and 9th exclusive).

It's really a Threefer.....

If you want to know the details about this card you can read all on it HERE

And may I remind you about our own little challenge - the Day of the Month Card Club - the theme is HAPPY - I am sure you can find a card to link up!

Unser Logo zum Mitnehmen! / Our logo to take away!

I am linking up with:
Twofer challenge - balloons
Watercooler Wednesday challenge - anything masculine (birthday card with the blue balloon)
Simon Says Wednesday challenge - cute (monster cards)
Time Out - birthday celebration (monster cards)

Happy Twofing!

Definitely should be included in the Twofer because they're both brilliant. Using the baloons for the stones...why can't I think like that. For goodness sake, you're mind it so clever.

It's clear you've been inspired by Debby, Cornelia. Your watercoloring of those balloons and especially that collapsed elephant is, in turn, inspiring ME! I don't mind that your Twofers were posted separately, since they weren't backlinked. (By the way, we do appreciate that you brought your photo from yesterday over to today; that does make it easier on the Team.)

I think your monster birthday cards for the boy/girl twins are so darn cute! Love the schplatters and the striped border! And your get well card made my jaw drop! How beyond is your cleverness to think of making boulders for the sick little ellie to lie beside, out of the sun! You are too much! Even the concerned chicken can't believe you did that!!

Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #14 to keep your streak alive! Hugs, Darnell

You already know how fun and funny I found your poor elephant and curious chicken, Cornelia ... such great use of the balloon for the boulders! That little balloon-holding birthday monster is adorable in both colour combo's ... such great colouring ... the sense of dimension is brilliant! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)

Darauf muss man erst mal kommen, einen Ballonstempel als Steine zu verwenden, dabei ist es doch naheliegend. Beide Karte sind großartig gemacht, bin begeistert.

I don't believe this! First balloon boulders I've seen! You are simply amazing to think of it. I absolutely love the scene you created with the poor elephant and worried chicken. The stamps are hilarious! Your coloring is beautifully done and interesting, including the darling little monster with the birthday balloon. Really outstanding entry in our Twofer challenge, Cornelia!

Fantastic colouring as always Cornelia. Love those sweet monsters with the balloons. And how creative and clever to turn the balloons into rocks around the sad elephant. Awesome designs. Thanks for playing along with Twofer Card Challenge.

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car

Mirror Image Stamping with So Suzy and the MISTI

Hi Everyone, I am so happy to be part of this wonderful event - the collaboration between So Suzy and the MISTI from My Sweet Petunia doing mirror image stamping.  This event is going on for the ENTIRE  MONTH! We are demonstrating the  Mirror Image Stamp    which coordinates with the Misti Stamping Tool! All month long, different bloggers will post a card using the  Mirror Image Stamp .  In my tutorial today, I will show you how use the  Mirror Image Stamp  on your cards. You can basically double your stamp supplies that way! The  mirror image stamp  is  a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of red rubber with no foam backing. So much larger than the other mirror image stamps out there and therefore much more useful! Mirror Image stamp ,  Two Cats in a Tree If you want a video tutorial on how to do this I can highly recommend you watch THIS VIDEO on youtube. Explains it all in very little time! Or you can see the same thing on my photo tutorial. With mirror
