Stamp Connection #45

Hi Everyone,

Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from Little Art Cottage and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2rd Sunday of the month and this is our ninth transatlantic get-together!

This time I picked the requirements:
"Something new - but purchased a long time ago"
otherwise called ancient NBUS...

I have soooooo many unused stamps, it's downright embarrassing...those birds I think I bought on my very first stamp convention I went to - I think they are from Sparkle N Sprinkle, if I remember correctly. I don't think they still carry them. Finally inked up. There is nothing better than a good challenge.... even if it is my own.
The road is Washi tape and the sentiment is by Rubbernecker.
Colored with Inktense, what else...?

Lets check out  Tanja's artwork!

Happy Stamping!

Fabulous, fun and perfect for the challenge . I didn't know you could get washi tape like that. Thanks for joining The Library.

Love the humor in it, Cornelia, plus your Inktense pencil coloring is great.

Great card....love the birdies as they make me smile! We need more of that... BTW, what does NBUS stand for?

I so laughed out loud at the sentiment and what a fun card X

You really have this avian thing down pat. After drooling over it on IG, thought I'd show my appreciation of this fabulous card on your blog. The birds are yellow, so already I was happy but the road design and that wonderful sentiment made me ecstatic.

Well ain't that the perfect washi?!? No kidding, ancient NBUS. I've got plenty! Love your take on "why'd the chicken..."

Cornelia... I am laughing, laughing, laughing... both at your post (I can relate) and your card (which I love!).
