Stamp Connection #43

Hi Everyone,

Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from Little Art Cottage and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2nd Sunday of the month and this is our ninth transatlantic get-together!

This time it was my turn to pick the requirements:

Fields and Meadows

I used an ancient Stampin up stamp for the background. Did a little sponging. Added the little animals - they are from Cats on Appletrees, a German company. Made the eyes with liquid enamel and cut the apple out of red paper and heat embossed it in clear. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

Lets check out  Tanja's artwork!

Happy Stamping!

Oh, oh, oh how I love these adorable stamps. Your paper piecing is perfect for their bellies. Can't believe you fussy cut that tiny apple. I don't care how old that background stamp is, either. It's a definite keeper and ideal for these charming critters.

A very fun card. I have that SU stamp -- must go dig it out! Haven't used it in ages. I don't have those particular little critters, but I have others I can use. I hope you don't mind if I CASE your card, but this is perfect for a birthday card I actually have to make TODAY! Thanks!
That is such a cute and fun card you made.

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. So Suzy Stamps Snarky Blog Hop

Hi Everyone, Welcome to the So Suzy Stamps Snarky Blog Hop where funny and humorous Christmas cards take over! I am hopping along with Justine’s 12 Days of Christmas Series. If you haven’t checked it out yet, click here . Justine has been busy creating a dozen Christmas Card video tutorials to inspire you this holiday, and best of all there are prizes to be won every day. All you have to do to be eligible to win a $25 gift certificate is comment on each of the blogs! Good luck! We will pick two winners on November 9th! Here are my cards: For my first card I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder and embossed dark grey card stock. The cool deer I colored with Inktense pencils and fuzzy cut it. I stamped the Cool Yule sentiment onto aqua card stock and added white gel pen accents. Mounted everything onto a white card base. For my second card I used patterned paper as background. Added the die cuts (Santa and moose from Dixie Crafts, Winter Landscape die from Cut

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it.
