So Suzy Christmas Baubles

Hi Everyone, I am up on the So Suzy blog today with a card I made with those fabulous little baubles from the  November release ! My  So Suzy stamp supplies : So, how did I make this card? I spritzed some Dylusion inks onto a sheet of plastic and smooshed water color paper in it and let it dry. I then took the baubles and inked them in a lighter color  and spritzed with water or just spritzed them with water to get kind of a ghosting technique. Fiddled around with it on black card stock and thought it need something else, so I smooshed a scrap piece of card stock in the same color and heat embossed some baubles in white. Fuzzy cut them. And played around placing them onto my card.  Sett...

Shopping Our Stash Challenge 280

Hi Everyone, This is my fifth and last week as Guest Designer over at  Shopping Our Stash  - in case you don't know its a weekly challenge, where you are supposed to use something in your stash - preferably something neglected ;) This weeks challenge is  Paper Strip Art - Use the Bargello Technique on your card or project. Now this is something I would normally avoid.... I have this aversion to use patterned paper, although my stash is quite impressive.....not sure why I ever buy any.... So I procrastinated a bit about this and then I finally made my card and here it is: Again, I avoided patterned paper - oh well, it was not meant to be.... If you want to learn abo ut the B argello technique click HERE . Just gonna tell you - you need a lot of adhesive and you can not make this in 5 minutes... The sentiment is by  Simon Says Eager to try this? The challenge runs until Midnight December 5th - come and play along! Happy Stamping!
