Two Cards, Two Challenges

Hi Everyone,

my first card I made for the CASE this Sketch challenge - after an enthusiastic encouragement by Michele Ferguson...

after all I had the perfect sentiment for this one.... and oldie by Stampin' up. Sponged my background and added some Bokeh. The little bells are by Mama Elephant. Added lots of sequins and the little bell on that silver string.

And since sponging is my favorite technique I will also add this to this months HLS CAS challenge - favorite technique.

The second card I made for CASology, the theme is TOY. The toy is the unicycle - I used to ride one in my former life and my son can ride one, too.

The stamps are ancient, too and is by Stamping Ground, I believe....The word life I just hand wrote in. Colored everything with Copics and added black splatters.

Also linking up with:
Inkspirational - bah humbug! Anything but Christmas

Are you done with your Christmas cards, yet? I think I am..... I have a few more in store, which I have not yet posted, but I think I don't need any more....

Well, no white Christmas here - its rather green....

Happy Stamping!

Oh Em Gee...incredible card making skills and physical dexterity, too. Geez, do I ever feel inadequate now. That ink blending/bokeh on your first card os amazing...boy, are you EVER making up for lost time. I smell a winner. Be prepared. And the second card...how the heck to you ever find a unicycle stamp let alone make card that's so much fun.

Oh, that jingle was such fun! Those crooning reindeer were such a hoot!! Your cards are gorgeous! You are quite the talented girl, aren't you? Uni cycling - for real? That is talent! Love the card in its lovely bright colours, and your handwritten addition to the sentiment is wonderful. Thanks so much for sharing with us at CASology this week!

Flo

A unicycle?? Do you think you could still do it?? I think thats brilliant as I've always wanted to give it a go. Your first card has the most beautiful blues, it caught my eye straight away and love the sentiment layout. Your second card is so perfect with the image and sentiment and would never have known you hadn't stamped the 'life'. So fabulous!!!!

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

So Suzy Stamps Snarky Blog Hop

Hi Everyone, Welcome to the So Suzy Stamps Snarky Blog Hop where funny and humorous Christmas cards take over! I am hopping along with Justine’s 12 Days of Christmas Series. If you haven’t checked it out yet, click here . Justine has been busy creating a dozen Christmas Card video tutorials to inspire you this holiday, and best of all there are prizes to be won every day. All you have to do to be eligible to win a $25 gift certificate is comment on each of the blogs! Good luck! We will pick two winners on November 9th! Here are my cards: For my first card I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder and embossed dark grey card stock. The cool deer I colored with Inktense pencils and fuzzy cut it. I stamped the Cool Yule sentiment onto aqua card stock and added white gel pen accents. Mounted everything onto a white card base. For my second card I used patterned paper as background. Added the die cuts (Santa and moose from Dixie Crafts, Winter Landscape die from Cut

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car
