Dandelion and Christmas Trees

Hi  Everyone,

I am getting tired of making Christmas cards.... I needed a break from them. I love the inspiration picture for the current Sunday stamps challenge, so I pulled out my ancient Hero Arts stamp to make this card.

The sentiment is by Unity stamps. Did some masking and sponging. I also performed a little surgery on my stamp, as those falling dandelion seeds are attached to the main stamp. Just a little cut with my Exacto knife and I set them free!

I am also linking up with:

But I do have a Christmas card for you, in fact I  made two - they are slightly different - do you see it?

My materials are: tree dies - Papertrey, sentiment - Simon Says stamps, some punches, gingham stamp - Stampin' up, PP cut with a die by Paper Smooches, added a little bit of Stickles to the tree topper stars. Love how the sentiment just fits that curve!

Got inspired by the immensely cute picture of the current Sparkle and Shine challenge.

Oh my, that dandelion card is over-the-top gorgeous. I love how you white embossed and also stamped the image with gray. And the sponging is just beautiful, what a lovely color. Great take on the challenge, thank you so much for participating this week at the Mod Squad Challenge

Don't you know you can't ask a card maker if they see the difference between two cards because, sure at shootin', they will? The bright, colorful little snowman...duh! hahahaha! But I do love both of them so much, all that fabulous color. Yum.
You used one of my very favorite stamps, EVER, on your first card. Yes, I have it, too. Now I'll have to dig it out...it looks so great on your card. Clever girl you are to set those teeny blossoms free.

Had to look hard to see the differences between these two cards, Cornelia ... think I got it!!! Absolutely magical dandelions with their dreamy, liberated seed heads ... and such fun, bright, contemporary Christmas trees ... they're both fabulous! Hugs, Anita :)

The dandelion card is so lovely, Cornelia! Beautiful layout with fabulous sponging! And the christmas cards are very cute in bright colors!
These cards are so fantastic! I love the bright happy colors and the striped paper you used. I really like how you cut a curved edge into the striped paper and how you showed two different versions of this card. I liked seeing the varied shapes on the trees! Thanks for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.

Swooning over the delicate beauty of the dandelion "puff"...gorgeous! And your tree cards are whimsical, festive fun! Since you asked: heart=snowman and the patterned papers are in reverse colours. I'm still making Christmas cards...so much 'stuff' still needs attention (perhaps I should be making these year round so everyone gets a chance to play!)

Cornelia, your first card is just beautiful. In those teal tones it's stunning. I may have to case this one at some point if that's ok? A great showcase of your sponging skills. Thanks for sharing at Happy Little Stampers, Anita x

Love your HA dandelion card.... I'm a sucker for blues and you've captured laying out the stamps with a faded out background. Really pretty!

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car
