STAMPlorations Sketch Challenge #24

Hi Everyone,

we have a new sketch challenge at STAMPlorations:

And here is my card:

I used three stamp sets for this card:  Trendy LeavesPATCHWORK FRENZY: Graphic Squares and Trendy Feathers

The yellow leave I stamped first and heat embossed it, since I was too lazy to make a mask.....I partially masked the square and sponged. Lastly I added the sentiment and the stitches.

This month we have Julie from Crafted by Jules as our GDT - she is a fabulously talented card maker. Make sure you''ll stop by her blog and leave her some love. And of course our DT girls have made gorgeous cards to entice you to play along!

I am also linking this card with the AAA challenge - Thanks(giving)

Our prize this month:
$10 gift certificate to a participant who uses a STAMPlorations image - randomly drawn
$5 gift certificate to a participant - randomly drawn from all entries

The challenge ends December 28; the winner will be announced January 1.

See you over at STAMPlorations!

Great idea to emboss to skip masking! Love how you inked and used the stamps from the different steps -- they work so well together!

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car

Dandelion and Christmas Trees

Hi  Everyone, I am getting tired of making Christmas cards.... I needed a break from them. I love the inspiration picture for the current Sunday stamps challenge , so I pulled out my ancient Hero Arts stamp to make this card.  The sentiment is by Unity stamps. Did some masking and sponging. I also performed a little surgery on my stamp, as those falling dandelion seeds are attached to the main stamp. Just a little cut with my Exacto knife and I set them free! I am also linking up with: Mod Squad Challenge  - Anything but Christmas (exactly how I feel....) Happy Little Stampers Dec CAS Challenge   -  Favorite Technique (sponging is my favorite)    But I do have a Christmas card for you, in fact I  made two - they are slightly different - do you see it? My materials are: tree dies - Papertrey, sentiment - Simon Says stamps, some punches, gingham stamp - Stampin' up, PP cut with a die by Paper Smooches, added a little bit of Stickles to the tre
