STAMPlorations and Brushos

Cornelia here today, playing again with Brushos - my new favorite "toy"

I just love those colors! And Brushos are so easy to use. Here is my tutorial:
I started out with water color paper, Versamark and that beautiful STAMPlorations Damask background stamp. I used mu embossing buddy first, to get clean embossing.

Her is a little trick I learned from Jennifer McGuire - on large stamps I put the paper on the stamp and then rub my fingers over the paper to get all the ink onto the paper rather than pressing the stamp onto the paper. You see that I did not even bother to remove the stamp from its plastic sheet....

I sprinkled it with white embossing powder - clear would probably work just as well, but my clear embossing powder is not as fine as my white one and I wanted all that detail.

I sprinkled various Brusho greens onto the paper, starting with turquoise at the top. The paper then looks like you added a little bit of pepper from a salt/pepper shaker. I took a picture, but it came out too blurry, so I can't show it to you...
I then misted it with water using a mini mister and the Brusho pigment crystals come to life! I moved the color around a bit with a water brush, to just get it to the edges of the paper.

The paper then needs to dry - you can speed this up with a heat tool...

I heat embossed the daisy from the Bloom Sentiments set onto water color paper and also used Brushos to color it. (Used a left over snippet - this goes into the Snippet Playground)

Again I used my water brush to move the color around.

I fuzzy cut the daisy and decided it needed a stem. Used one of the brush stroke stamps from Celebrate Artsy and forest moss distress ink, added it onto a small leftover strip watercolor paper and cut it out as well.

I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto black cardstock (also a snippet), glued it onto the card and added the daisy including its stem with foam tape.

Lastly I added Stickles to the center of the daisy, but it doesnt' show....

Those are the sets I used:

The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car
