National Simplicity Day - Smile Crocodile

Hi Everybody!

at the current Day of the Month Card Club they have a challenge after my heart - National Simplicity Day. I do love making CAS cards! I also wanted to play along in the Once upon a Time challenge - see below. Therefore the croc had to make an appearance - it had been collecting dust. I have actually never used it. Shame on me!

I die cut the croc (Simon Says ) and brushed it with distress inks. Added googly eyes. I used a snowfall stencil (Simon Says) to make the confetti background using the same distress inks. The sentiment is from a little Papertrey stamp set with a matching die.

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. Suzanne's Surprise Blog Hop

Hi Everyone, I have a very special card for you today - a birthday card for Suzanne, the owner and talented force behind So Suzy Stamps! And we are celebrating this wonderful occasion with a special blog hop! You may have arrived from the wonderful Giada , our Italian contingent :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY Suzanne! I used the Blowing Butterflies (heat embossed in gold) and the Birthday Wishes to create my card. I cut myself a gold frame from glitter paper and added a water color wash. Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose.
