Hi Everyone,
I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am a huge fan of Karl Valentin (1842-1948) a Bavarian comedian. He said a lot of funny as well as profound things and is still well known to this date. There is a little museum in Munich dedicated to him - definitely a worthwhile visit if you visit Munich and speak German......This card uses one of his famous sayings. It translates into "Blessed are those who have nothing to say, and keep quiet nonetheless". I just love his kind of humor.
I used one of the backgrounds from my stash. I thought this weird figure with his closed mouth is perfect for the illustration. I used alcohol ink markers to color it and cut it out. Cut the sentiment apart, drew a frame around it and added it to my card.
The stamps I used are from the following sets:
Les Marins - KTZ226 (FRANCE)
Sea Creatures - KTZ226 (USA)
Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.
Thanks for visiting!
Happy Stamping!
