Funky Fossil Designs - Hugs & Kisses

Hi Everyone, I made this with one of the new January release sets and one of the older  Funky Fossil Designs  sets. The inspiration I got from the Dream Factory challenge . The topic is 50 First Dates - I just hope those cute little Hedgehogs will hit it off on their first one!  I first die cut the Polaroid frame twice and glued it together. Lightly drew in the frame position onto the card base. Stamped the Hedgehogs , ampersand and garland. Sponged lightly the background. Colored with Inktense pencils. Added the frame and stamped the hugs and kisses onto the frame. Added some Washi tape . The stamps I used: Hedgehugs Love & I hope you had a chance to check out this new release. It not only included several new stamp sets, but also new dies, Washi tape and this fantastic paper pad.  Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Dream Factory challenge  -50 First Dates

Crackerbox Stamps - Happy Valentines Day Friend

Hi Everybody,  Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below. I made this card with some of the older stamps from  Crackerbox Stamps  and one of the new Valentine's stamps from the recent release. I made a background with reinkers - just wet the card base with water and dropped distress ink reinker on it and moved it around and dried it with my heat tool. I stamped the  fish  onto scrap paper and colored them with Copics. Fuzzy cut them. Stamped the  sentiment  onto vellum and heat embossed it in black. Tore the vellum and attached it to the card. Added the little hearts.  The stamps I used: Fish Snooper Fish Nibbles   Fish Sally Happy Valentines Day Friend I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Katzelkraft Calendar - February

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am having so much fun with my Katzelkraft calendar. I am quite happy with my second page.  Of course February is dedicated to Valentine's Day. Looking forward to the next 10 months! I first stamped the dogs. They have only eyes for each other...Colored them with water brush pens and masked them. Created the background with help of a stencil (Altenew). Stamped the grass. Stamped the hats and tie onto scrap paper, colored them, cut them out and added them.  Added the branches. Added the calendar. And then I thought it needs a rat....Doesn't everything look better with a rat, LOL? I had some precut rats and choose one. Put it on top of the calendar. Any suggestions for March? I am open to ideas.... The stamps I used are from the following sets: Dogs - KTZ161,  Rats - KTZ179 ,  Herbs Folles  - KTZ256,   Funny  Accessories   - KTZ 156   ( FRANCE) Dogs - KTZ161,  Rats - ...

Funky Fossil Designs - Snarky birthday Card

Hi Everyone, The new January release is now in the shop at  Funky Fossil Designs !  This card I made with the Prehistoric   set. I used the Trilobite. Here are some interesting facts (from Wikipedia): Trilobites form one of the earliest-known groups of arthropods. The first appearance of trilobites in the fossil record was in the e arly  Cambrian   period   521 million years ago.  The last extant trilobites finally disappeared in  the mass extinction  at the end of the  Permian  about 252 million years ago. Trilobites were among the most successful of all early animals, existing in oceans for almost 270 million years, with over 20,000 species having been described. I took the Trilobite, inked it up first with Versamark and then Versafine and stamped it. Heat embossed it in clear and sponged rainbow colors around it. Fossils can be colorful as well, why not? The sentiments are from the same set. also added w...

Assembled everything and stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts). Added some Stickles to the roofs and trees. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Happy Stamping! Katzelkraft - Christmas Stag

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I decided to play along with some Christmas challenges early this year, to avoid stress later, trying to get all those cards done in time. So far, every year has been a struggle....... 52CCT has a color challenge this week - not my favorite I admit, but therein lies the challenge - its 3 shades of brown. I stamped the stag from the Into the Wild set and colored it with Inktense pencils. Masked it and added the script from the  Christmas Snowflakes  in brown ink. Added black splatters. The sentiment is heat embossed and is from Darkroom Door. The stamps I used are from the following sets: Into the Wild  - KTZ281,   Christmas Snowflakes -  KTZ282   ( FRANCE)   Christmas Snowflakes - KTZ282, Into the Wild  - KTZ281  (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Christmas Kickstart -Reminder for Challenge#58

Hi Everyone, as you  might know, I have the great honor to be Guest Designer for this month at the  Christmas Kickstart challenge  and it's a fabulous theme - rainbow Christmas! I love this theme and here is my reminder card: For this card I used the pretty  Christmas Snowflakes  from Katzelkraft and heat embossed them in white. Sponged around them in rainbow colors. Added the sentiment (Cutplorations). I cut it out a few times and glued it together to make it stand out more.  Stayed pretty CAS here - overall my favorite thing to do. It's quick and easy and often it doesn't need much to look good.  I hope you  like it as much as I do and I inspired you to  play along  - after all, Christmas is coming again, sooner than you might think.
