Day of the Month Card Club - World Card Making Day

Hi Everyone,

This month we are celebration "World Card Making Day" - that means it's an anything goes topic, but it should be a card, of course. Actually that day should be every day....
For more detail on this day go visit our challenge blog.

We also have a Guest Designer with us Christiane Wo , who was voted winner in challenge #6. Her delightful blog is called eye can stamp, although she has abandoned her blog lately and is now just found on Instagram under the name Vivaldis Frauchen. I also love her sense of humor and she makes really fabulous cards. If you don't know her blog you might want to pay it a visit. It will not disappoint, I promise!

Now here is my inspiration card:

I bought the September card kit from hero Arts, since I needed to have the cover die with all those windows. It's 25 of them -perfect for an Advent calendar. But for now we are celebrating Halloween soon and the kit is actually a Halloween kit.

Here you see the outside with all the little windows:

And some more views of the inside.

This is not a quick card to make - beware! But I think the effort is totally worth it!

Besides that - we are celebrating World Card Making Day - that is indeed a very special day, so it needs a special card!

I am counting on you! You have until the end of the month (10/31) to do so.
Please link up HERE

This is a voting challenge - the winner will be determined by vote. Everybody can vote, even if you didn't play along. Voting starts on the first of the following month - June first.
The 3 participants with the most votes will win.
The winners will be showcased on the 5th of each month and the new challenge will start each month on the seventh.
And to make it more fun and appealing it would be great if you could comment on at least 3 other participants - perhaps you'll find some new friends that way.

There is always a reason to celebrate!

You really made a cool card for Halloween. I like all the little boxes look of the design too.

How fun and fabulous, Cornelia ... there's so much brilliant detail on one small card! Love how it's understated in it's 'closed' form ... and when all those doors are opened, the insides positively glow! Spooky and so clever! Hugs, Anita :)

This card is so clever, I love the way you have coloured it so it looks like light shining out of the windows. It also has a wonderful spooky feel to it xx

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Hi Everyone, Welcome to the So Suzy Stamps Snarky Blog Hop where funny and humorous Christmas cards take over! I am hopping along with Justine’s 12 Days of Christmas Series. All you have to do to be eligible to win a $25 gift certificate is comment on each of the blogs! Good luck! We will pick two winners on November 9th! Here are my cards: For my first card I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder and embossed dark grey card stock. The cool deer I colored with Inktense pencils and fuzzy cut it. I stamped the Cool Yule sentiment onto aqua card stock and added white gel pen accents. Mounted everything onto a white card base. For my second card I used patterned paper as background. Mirror Image Stamping with So Suzy and the MISTI

Hi Everyone, I am so happy to be part of this wonderful event - the collaboration between So Suzy and the MISTI from My Sweet Petunia doing mirror image stamping.  This event is going on for the ENTIRE  MONTH! We are demonstrating the  Mirror Image Stamp    which coordinates with the Misti Stamping Tool! All month long, different bloggers will post a card using the  Mirror Image Stamp .  In my tutorial today, I will show you how use the  Mirror Image Stamp  on your cards. You can basically double your stamp supplies that way! The  mirror image stamp  is  a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of red rubber with no foam backing. So much larger than the other mirror image stamps out there and therefore much more useful! Mirror Image stamp ,  Two Cats in a Tree If you want a video tutorial on how to do this I can highly recommend you watch THIS VIDEO on youtube. Explains it all in very little time! Or you can see the same thing on my photo tutorial. With mirror
