Guest Designing for Topflight Stamps

Hi Everybody,

I am proud and happy to announce that I will be guest designer of the month for Topflight StampsThere you will find different and hard-to-find art stamps from around the world. They carry a lot of European stamp companies, which are hard to find in the US and the shipping rates are quite reasonable. Occasionally to make thing even better there are sales. There also is a sale category, where you can  get super lucky, so that is always worthwhile to check out!

So here is my first card:

I took this cute set by Carabelle to create my card.

Those dogs are just the cutest! The Scotty dog and the Wiener dog are just meant for each other.  But I didn't want to cut of the Wiener dog. That would have been cruel.... So I decided on a side fold rather than my usual top fold and stamped him around onto the back. Masked them both and sponged the floor. Added the sentiment. I colored them with Copics.

And then the bulldog on this set complained about being left out....

So I apologized and put him on a card as well..... He is sitting on a stenciled wall and was also colored with Copics.

Such a cutie!

And now I have a little present for you:

If you use code FUNSTAMPING you will get 12% discount at Topflight Stamps!

I will be back next Thursday with more inspiration!

Bwahahahaha. What a terrific pair of cards. Of course, I love critter cards but these are a cut above. Congratulations on your DT assignment. I love Top Flight and I know they'll love have you on their team. Inceidentally, is it me or does that bulldog look like he's stretching to go for a run?

Congratulations on Guest Designing with Top Flight, Cornelia ... what a fabulous debut for the month! Great scene building for that 'feeling left out' bulldog ... and how fun are those poochy friends, especially with the dachshund wrapped round the back of the card! Hugs, Anita :)

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers

Some more Christmas Cards...

Hi Everyone, there still are some Christmas cards  I made awhile ago and have not yet posted.... This one I made for the  Runway Inspired Challenge . The inspiration photo is below. I found it a little tricky to make this into a Christmas card, but with the help  of Neat&Tangled stamps it worked....The stitched dies are by Simon Says. Added some Washi tape on top (the headdress) and silver glitter paper at the bottom (the floor and silver shoes) and voila a Christmas card! My second card I made with an iStencil, gold embossing paste, faux pearls, an enamel dot and lots of splatters. The stitched die I cut the Kraft panel with is by Simon Says. I love this stencil and stenciled cards are just so quick and easy to make. I used this one for several cards this year, on of which you can see HERE . http://www.istencils.com/store/products/22-00029 I am linking up this card with: Stamps and fun=Creativity - Christmas U...
