Guest Designing for Topflight Stamps Take II - Birman Cat and Katzelkraft Rat

Hi Everybody,

this is my second post as guest designer for Topflight Stamps. This week we are focusing on the company For the Love of Stamps.

They have some super cute dog and cat stamps. Since I had dogs on my last post I thought I better be fair and put a cat in scene. This one is a bit sneaky, hiding behind that wall.....

The Katzelkraft rat doesn't think he is cute and is just hoping for the best. After all there is no escape route for her....

My stamp supplies:

I stamped the cat and colored it with Copics. Masked it. The wall is an embossing folder. The rat I cut with my Scan N Cut and colored with Copics as well and mounted it with foam tape after I sponged the floor.

I hope you liked this.

Again I have a little present for you:

If you use code FUNSTAMPING you will get 12% discount at Topflight Stamps!

I will be back next Thursday with more inspiration!

Liebes Mäuschen, einfach ruhig verhalten. Du bist nur Beute, wenn Du Dich bewegst. Genial schöne Karte, ich mag solche kleinen Szenen sehr!!
OMG so funny :) love those stamps :)
How fun and well designed. I love the cat behind the wall and the look of the mouse cowering around the corner.

How can you even say you "hope" we like it???? You are so fantastically clever and make the most of any image you work with! This card is great! I find you to be an awesome inspiration. Even if I had the stamps you have I would not be able to put them together like you do. And your days with Darnell are just plain fun and so very very creative. Never stop sharing, please. I so look forward to your posts (especially when they involve Katzelkraft, but really all your work is awesome.)

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Mirror Image Stamping with So Suzy and the MISTI

Hi Everyone, I am so happy to be part of this wonderful event - the collaboration between So Suzy and the MISTI from My Sweet Petunia doing mirror image stamping.  This event is going on for the ENTIRE  MONTH! We are demonstrating the  Mirror Image Stamp    which coordinates with the Misti Stamping Tool! All month long, different bloggers will post a card using the  Mirror Image Stamp .  In my tutorial today, I will show you how use the  Mirror Image Stamp  on your cards. You can basically double your stamp supplies that way! The  mirror image stamp  is  a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of red rubber with no foam backing. So much larger than the other mirror image stamps out there and therefore much more useful! Mirror Image stamp ,  Two Cats in a Tree If you want a video tutorial on how to do this I can highly recommend you watch THIS VIDEO on youtube. Explains it all in very little time! Or you can see the same thing on my photo tutorial. With mirror
