The Back Stories With Darnell and Cornelia - #4 Jeremy

JEREMY

Jeremy heard the key in the front door and thought, “Oh, feathers, I’m in trouble now!”
As his mistress rounded the corner of the kitchen island and looked down at him, Jeremy could see the look of disappointment on her face.
For Jeremy this was worse than anything. He could feel his own eyes begin to well up with tears as he silently telegraphed how sorry he was that he had messed up.

His owner stood there for several long minutes just staring at Jeremy and then suddenly the look of disappointment gave way to amusement and soon she was doubled over in laughter.
Turning on the hot water faucet, she said, “You know, I should just leave you stuck there overnight and maybe you won’t be so curious next time!”
Jeremy sniffed. His butt and tail were already numb. One thing he knew for sure, he’d never go near a bottle of maple syrup again!”

Hahahahahahahaha...this is just hilarious. The pitiful little cat in that messy floor is so reminiscent of my furbabies at their worst, I had to laugh out loud and still am. The coloring is dead on perfect, by the way.

That illustration you did is so perfect with Darnell's story. You two sure work well together. I love that cute kitty and even if he is in a mess of maple syrup.

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers
