Twofer Challenge #17

Hi Everyone,

have you been waiting for my Twofer entry?

Well, here it is:

I have this ancient set by The Alley Way stamps - -a company that sadly does not longer exist. But I still have plenty of their stamps, which in this case came in handy!

For this card I dressed up the bee as vampire - she is riding a broom (Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps) and the sentiment is in part TAWS and Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps.,

For this card I used a honeycomb stamp and the flightpath from a Joy Clair set for the background. Added Stickles to the wings. Die cut the card base with a die by Simon Says and mo9unted it on to dark brown card stock.

I am linking up with:

Watercooler Wednesday challenge - anything masculine (first card)
Simon Says Wednesday challenge - travel (first card) - that bee is travelling somewhere
Shopping our Stash - you are so punny (second card)
CAS Mix-up - ombre (second card)

You, most definitely, win! Both are perfect for the Bee challenge but my heart has been stolen by the Dracula-Witch bee...it even has a fang, for goodness sake. Too, too adorable for words.
These are so really fun! I love that bee but especially the way you made it into a witch. I think you are definitely in the running for the challenge.

Your head space never ceases to amaze me, Cornelia! You must have the BEST dreams! How fun and stinking cute and clever of you to turn your bee into a vampire riding a broom for Halloween! Brilliant coloring! I also love your more traditional design with the lovely honey gold blended background and bee and the schparkly wings! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #17! Hugs, Darnell

Perfect costume for that bee - the stinger could feel like a vampire bite, for sure! So very creative! Beautiful nighttime/Halloweeny background too! Your second card is simply sweet! Love the honeycomb and the glittery wings. Your coloring is spot-on, too. Two great cards, Cornelia. Thanks so much for joining us at the Twofer Challenge. Bev

Wow, these bee cards are amazing, Cornelia! The Halloween-look bee is just adorable! It's just a small thing but I love the blue circle effect around its eye.
The way you colored the honeycomb (spray) is so unique and the pretty ombre bee fits right into the background. Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Mix Up!

Wow, Cornelia, I have to say that I would never have thought to create a Bee vampire, riding a broomstick. But the image is perfect and so is the one of the bee in its own form. Well done for the twofer challenge. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car

Mirror Image Stamping with So Suzy and the MISTI

Hi Everyone, I am so happy to be part of this wonderful event - the collaboration between So Suzy and the MISTI from My Sweet Petunia doing mirror image stamping.  This event is going on for the ENTIRE  MONTH! We are demonstrating the  Mirror Image Stamp    which coordinates with the Misti Stamping Tool! All month long, different bloggers will post a card using the  Mirror Image Stamp .  In my tutorial today, I will show you how use the  Mirror Image Stamp  on your cards. You can basically double your stamp supplies that way! The  mirror image stamp  is  a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of red rubber with no foam backing. So much larger than the other mirror image stamps out there and therefore much more useful! Mirror Image stamp ,  Two Cats in a Tree If you want a video tutorial on how to do this I can highly recommend you watch THIS VIDEO on youtube. Explains it all in very little time! Or you can see the same thing on my photo tutorial. With mirror
