So Suzy Feathers - 2 Ways

Hi Everyone,

I am have a photo tutorial today for So Suzy Stamps.
Using the same stamps 2 different ways.

Both cards are done with a Kaleidocolor inkpad and generational stamping.

This card uses the same Inkpad, but I spritzed the feathers with water.

My So Suzy stamps:

Lets get started:

I stamped the sentiment - I used Catherine Pooler ink - it is nice an juicy and you only need to ink up your stamp once. I stamped the sentiment just above the center on the card on your left and into the bottom right for the card on your right.

I spritzed the feather with water and stamped it around the sentiment - not inking it up again in between. It has enough ink to stamp it at least twice.

For the second card I did not spritz, just stamped it twice (generational stamping). I also added the smaller feather for both cards, using the same technique.

And then I finished both cards - added splatters, which I picked up from the stamp with a pain brush - just misted it again with water. It has enough ink on it for that.

I added some Bakers twine for the card below. some Washi tape and a tiny touch of Stickles and enamel dots for the bottom card.

You may know this already, but just in case you don't.... We have a new feature here at So Suzy's.
You get a stamp with every order free.
This month it is THIS stamp:

We also have a sale going on at this month:
Happy Generational Stamping!

Don't you just love green...love this Kaleidoscope pad...like it in blues, as well. Sure did a job on those glorious feathers and love the tip of using the ink residue on the stamp for splatters. See, I knew you were brilliant from the first card of yours that I saw.

Beide Karten sind wunderschön, wobei mir die mit den beiden Federn nebeneinander noch einen Tick besser gefällt.
Die Farbkombination allein ist schon toll!!!!!

OMG, Cornelia, I love these bright and fresh green colours ! Two stunning cards with the same stamp, same inks and two lovely techniques. Hard to believe that you used for both card a generational stamping, the ink is so crispy ! I love the pretty detail of the enamels on the first card too. Fabulous inspiration ! The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car
