So Suzy Chrysanthemums

Hi Everybody,

I am back with two cards I made with my pretty So Suzy stamps. I got inspired by the current challenge over at CAS Mix Up, where the theme is tissue paper and stamping. I had this pretty tissue paper lying around in my craft room. It has little specs of glitter in it- time to use it!

I made two cards, just changed the background paper and the sentiment.
My stamp supplies:

Lets get started:
took my Kaleidocolor inkpad and inked up the Chrysanthemum.Stamped it a couple of times

Added the Chestnut leaf with black Versamark ink.

In order to tear the tissue paper where I wanted it torn I moistened the tear line with water and then it tears exactly there.

Wrapped the tissue paper around a piece of white card stock and secured it with Scotch tape. also dabbed tiny drops of liquid glue onto the tissue paper to secure the front.

Heat embossed the sentiment in white onto dark blue card stock for the white card and stamped it in black onto grey card stock for the grey card. Added some thread and pearls to the white card

Holy Smoke!!! This is GORGEOUS!!! Beautiful colors. Love the tissue paper technique. I've not done that. I particularly love those with white on black sentiment!!

OK, I'll start breathing again now.

Two gorgeous cards Cornelia! Thanks for the tip about wetting the edge where you want the tissue to tear --- that is so helpful!! Love the colours and images that you have stamped. Interesting how different the look depending on the colour of your background. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx

I love the stamping on tissue paper Cornelia! I didn't have much success with that but I'm inspired to try again! The colors of the stamping is fantastic and beautiful on both backgrounds! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
Oh, I absolutely love this tissue paper technique and you created some amazing cards with it. Your colors are vibrant and I love the way you arranged the tissue paper differently on each card.
Just beautiful.
Thank you for sharing with us at SHOPPING OUR STASH, hope you play again next time.
Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.

These are just beautiful and bold. Really love the colors you chose, and good for you to use the tissue paper you've saved! I do the same thing and probably should follow your lead and use it! Thanks for hanging out at Shopping Our Stash this week!

The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it.
