Great News and Cards from Friends

Hi Everyone,

guess what?????

I have GREAT news and I am just SOOO excited - a while back Beatrice Neumeister from Katzelkraft asked me if I want to be on her DT. That was a no-brainer for me - of course I said YES - who wouldn't?!!!
And yesterday I got my first DT package, squeal!!!!! Honestly I had trouble deciding which stamp to use first - want to use them all, LOL! And I surely will! Soon!!!!

I started out with this Pug - his name is Booly. What a face! You gotta love him! The sentiment is from the set English Quotes - they are all great! You can see the set below.

I stamped Booly with Versafine ink and colored him with Inktense pencils. Stamped the sentiment on cork and heat embossed it. Added white Sharpie accents. I then die cut the bottom border with a CUTplorations die.

I hope you love him as much as I do!

Now onto other good news - I just got 3 cards from my blogging friends - the first one is from Coni from Which Craft? - she also used Katzelkraft - I think I might be responsible for her owning those fabulous rats. And I don't feel at all bad about this - I think everybody need to own those rats......I envy her penmanship. I wouldn't buy stamps if I could write like that!

The second card is from Bozena from ArtCardBox - you gotta love the Polish mail - she send it out for me to get it on Easter - it just arrived. But the best thing - the Christmas card arrived exactly on Easter! Such an adorable little dragon! I think those really are dragon eggs, not Easter eggs and note that they are golden and therefore extra special!

And the third card that arrived totally unexpected is from Verna from VA's Creative Clutter. She recently celebrated her 70th birthday and I send her a card for it. Never expected to get one back, so what a joy! Such a beautiful card! LOVE the background and that lacy butterfly!

Thank you all, Coni, Bozena and Verna - you are such amazing friends! So glad to have "met" you in blog land - perhaps one day in real life - that would be so much fun!

Happy Stamping!!!!

Who else would they pick but you. You're an amazing card artist...or just plain artist and they're lucky to get you. I congratulate you for the DT assignment and them for recognizing talent when they see it. That pug proves it. The expression on his adorable face is priceless and you've enhanced it immensely. Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car

Mirror Image Stamping with So Suzy and the MISTI

Hi Everyone, I am so happy to be part of this wonderful event - the collaboration between So Suzy and the MISTI from My Sweet Petunia doing mirror image stamping.  This event is going on for the ENTIRE  MONTH! We are demonstrating the  Mirror Image Stamp    which coordinates with the Misti Stamping Tool! All month long, different bloggers will post a card using the  Mirror Image Stamp .  In my tutorial today, I will show you how use the  Mirror Image Stamp  on your cards. You can basically double your stamp supplies that way! The  mirror image stamp  is  a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of red rubber with no foam backing. So much larger than the other mirror image stamps out there and therefore much more useful! Mirror Image stamp ,  Two Cats in a Tree If you want a video tutorial on how to do this I can highly recommend you watch THIS VIDEO on youtube. Explains it all in very little time! Or you can see the same thing on my photo tutorial. With mirror
