Joy Clair - Spring Flowers

Hi Everyone,

did you see this gorgeous April Flower set at the Joy Clair stamp release blog hop? I made two cards with it:

I really like the way this card came out! Did some masking and fuzzy cutting (the umbrella and the boots). I added glossy accents to the boots. The sentiment is heat embossed and I grounded everything with that enamel dot. The background rain stamp is by IO.

Here you can see the glossy accents better.
My second card:

For this card I did a lot of masking and colored everything with Copics

Hope you liked this!
Go and visit the Joy Clair blog to see the inspiration cards from our talented DT! And don't forget to play with us in the Joy Clair March challenge - the theme is Spring and we have a beautiful inspiration picture to give you some colors to play with!

Linking up with:
Stamping Sensations  - Flower Power (second card)
Bizzy Bec's March challenge  - anyting goes (first card)

*lachkaputt*
Liebe Grüße

Both these cards are exceptional...the first is so striking both in subject matter and color. The second really does say "Spring". Love the colors in the grey umbrella.

Oh, I absolutely adore your umbrella cards! The red/black/white of the first is so striking; the flower-filled brolly of the second, day brightening! I need a pair of shiny red boots today...snowing and raining here...
