And perhaps I can also inspire you to play along with us! I did the no line water coloring technique here - there a lots of youtube videos , in case you want to try this out. Big Hi for Sparkle and Shine

Hi Everyone, trying to sneak my card in at the last minute over at Sparkle and Shine , where Winnie & Walter are sponsoring the challenge. Its a sketch challenge - see below. Patterend paper is not my strength, so I stayed with colored card stock. Used my W&W supplies  - the big Hi die and stamps from the set "True". Heat embossed the facetted circle with clear embossing powder. Added Washi tape. I cut the "hi" twice - once using card stock and once using orange fun foam to give it some dimension. I turned the dot from the hi around, so you see the fun foam rather than the card stock. I thought it adds some fun element to the card. 1 1/2 hours before Mr. Linky expires - yeahh, I made it! Also linking up with: Uniko Studio- anything goes - optional masculine

Baby Card

Hi Everyone, one of my neighbors just had a baby girl - so I needed to make a card for her. Besides that I wanted to play in the a2z scrapbooking challenge for this month, which is all about new beginnings. I used that cute Hero Arts Operation Write Home stamp set Lil Hoot. The ombre background on the round circle I made with another Hero Arts background stamp - I won that from their birthday bash - also got that beautiful die from my win - THANK YOU a2zscrapbooking store - you are fabulous! I paper pieced the elephant using scrap pieces of card stock.  Used my white Sharpie for the eyes and tusk and Copic for mama elephant's toe nails - gotta have a pedicure.... The sentiment is Paper Smooches - A Little Lovin. Silver embroidery thread, Washi tape and sequins. I like it! Also linking up with: Snippets Playground  - my snippets are the elephants  Inkspirational  - Wild

Stamp Connection #4

Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our forth transatlantic get-together! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements : One Layer & Stencil just my thing - thanks Tanja! And here is my card: I bet Tanja did not think of Christmas when she suggested that theme - but who knows - I am curious! But to be honest, I did not think about it right away either - it just happened.....The truth of the matter is - I wanted to play in the One Layer Christmas card challenge - green is wanted there.  I used an iStencil for this card - its called Winter Striped Tree . Its such a beautiful stencil. I used two shades of green, but it dos not really show. Sprinkled Brushos on it and let it dry. Added the sent...
