Snow Monster and Happy Mail

Hi Everyone,

its snowing here in New Jersey! So I made a winter card for this week's Muse challenge. Marion Vagg made a real beauty this week for us to case - took me forever to think of something to do her card justice.....

I decided to make a shaker card. Used my brand new stitched dies from Simon Says - made this real easy. I took that cute monster from Paper Smooches - Falling for you, stamped it onto a scrap piece of white card stock, masked it and then sprayed with Heidi Swap color spray. I lightly colored the monster (Copics) and then filled the inside of the shaker with sequins and micro beads. The sentiment is by Paper Smooches and YNS.

Here is Marion's beautiful card:

And here is another view of mine:

I am also linking up with
Paper Smooches - anything goes
Shopping our Stash - The Big Screen - this monster reminds me about the abominable snow monster in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
CASology - Monochrome
Create something Catchy - Love shaker cards - I know it is a birthday card, but there is a lot of love in it - see those little sequin hearts?
Seize the birthday - hearts or arrows - added little sequin hearts
ShowCASe your style - Birthday

Bumble puts star on tree

And now I want to share some happy mail with you - gorgeous Valentine cards, that fluttered into my house from dear blogging friends:
This is Darnell's wonderful card - also had some stamping in the inside!

The next two cards are from my sister (she has no blog....)

Aren't they fabulous!!!

This beauty is by Susanne - you may have already seen it on her blog - if not, go and say hi to her - she makes fabulous cards - and tell her I sent you ;)

And now - drumm roll.......!!!!!!!!!

I am starting with the inside - Flo's stinkin' cute trifold card!!!!

I was gushing over it when I saw it on her blog and jokingly asked if that one is for me ;)

I guess its was!

LOVE!!!!!!

Love your monster shaker. Super cute and fun! Great selection of Valentines cards as well. I have never ever received a Valentines card in my entire life (nor sent any for that matter). Never heard about Valentines day until I was in my early twenties...
I LOVE your monster shaker card. Absolutely adorable! love your coloring, and the tiny beads in the shaker look like sand. I live in central NJ, and yes, it has been quite the winter yesterday felt like summer!

I suppose they do celebrate Valentine's Day in Greece, but I don't think it's nearly as big a thing as it is in the US. I only moved to Greece 6 years ago. I'm from the Netherlands, where Valentine's Day has only gained more popularity in the last few decades, although I still think it's more of a Hallmark day (as some other blogger put it recently). BTW, I have just become your newest follower.

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car

Mirror Image Stamping with So Suzy and the MISTI

Hi Everyone, I am so happy to be part of this wonderful event - the collaboration between So Suzy and the MISTI from My Sweet Petunia doing mirror image stamping.  This event is going on for the ENTIRE  MONTH! We are demonstrating the  Mirror Image Stamp    which coordinates with the Misti Stamping Tool! All month long, different bloggers will post a card using the  Mirror Image Stamp .  In my tutorial today, I will show you how use the  Mirror Image Stamp  on your cards. You can basically double your stamp supplies that way! The  mirror image stamp  is  a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of red rubber with no foam backing. So much larger than the other mirror image stamps out there and therefore much more useful! Mirror Image stamp ,  Two Cats in a Tree If you want a video tutorial on how to do this I can highly recommend you watch THIS VIDEO on youtube. Explains it all in very little time! Or you can see the same thing on my photo tutorial. With mirror
