STAMPlorations October Challenge

Hi, its time for the new monthly challenge at STAMPlorations!
We want you to use your stamps and embossing - both heat embossing or dry embossing is just fine. I used both in my card......

I used a strip of colored paper and stamped those fun shapes from the VIGNETTE: Retro Mod Shapes on it with Versamark and heat embossed it. I then sponged the strip with slightly darker distress inks, to bring out those shapes. The banner is from the same set and the sentiment is from Bloom Sketches.
I dry embossed the back panel with a Sizzix embossing folder.

I just love those rainbow colors.

Our wonderfully creative DT has beautiful cards to inspire you to play! Our guest designer this month is the amazing Virginia Lu - you all know her for sure!

And here is the October prize pack - if you play in all 3 challenges you have a chance to win this fabulous prize:

Pack of 12 Rubons Transfers Rub-ons Assorted - Cardmaking Mixed Media Scrapbooking - New without packaging

12 assorted rub-on transfers (4.75" by 6")

Now go ahead and visit our blog and leave some love on the DT girls blogs -- they have fantastic inspiration for you!

The challenge ends October 31, the winner will be announced November 5.
Hope to see you there!

I am also linking my card with Virginia's View challenge - CAS

Very retro Cornelia, reminds me of my bedroom wallpaper in the early '70s, colours and shapes!
