Topflight Stamps - Dots to Diamonds Underwater Scene

Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  This week's focus is on Dots to Diamonds. For the background I used a paper pad from Hunky Dory(  Hunkydory Dots to Diamonds Paper Pad 1 ). I first sponged the background  and then added the stencil and sponged some more. I added  Hunkydory Diamond Sparkles Gemstones  and some Stickles on the top. I stamped the fish and added some "water plants". I used bleach to lighten up the plants.  You can see how beautifully this sparkles a bit better on the photo below. Unfortunately the photo doesn't do it justice.  I used this paper pad previously, you can see it  HERE  if you are interested. Here are the products I used: Lavinia Stamps Sea Creatures , Fairy Orchid , Moon Pods Shoal of Fish ,    Visible Image - Fibers ,  Hunkydory Prism ink pads     Hunkydory Dots to Diamonds Paper Pad 1 ,  Hunkydory Diamond S...

Guest Designing for Topflight Stamps Take III - Zini meets Dots to Diamonds

Hi Everybody,  this is my third post as guest designer for Topflight Stamps. I discovered a new product and I am thrilled! It's called  Dots to Diamonds . It is a paper pack of 48 high quality cardstock cards with preprinted patterns, that you can adorn with gemstones or Stickles or whatever you have at hand. There are 6 different patterns in every pack.  My supplies: Zini ,  Dots to Diamonds I took the dandelion pattern and did an ombre sponge. I took the Zini and colored it (him? her?) with watercolors. Somebody commented and said it looks like a sweet potato - ha ha! I can see that! I cut it out with my Scan 'N Cut. Added it to the card and then added all those gemstones. To not to use too many of those precious little stones I also added some Stickles.  I din't want to add a sentiment. I think this card is fine without one. I hope you liked this. See you next Thursday! Again I have a little present for you: If you use...

Topflight Stamps - Happy New Year with Zinis

Hi Everyone, I  hope you had a great New Year  and that the upcoming year will be kind to you and your loved-ones! I have some great news - I have been asked to be on the Topflight Design Team and since my work situation has greatly improved I couldn't say no. So you will get a weekly Topflight post from me for the next six month on Thursdays - I hope that is something you will look forward to! To celebrate I choose this quirky little character from Paper Artsy, called Mini Zinis 38 . It just makes me happy to look at it! I colored it with water brush pens and cut it out. The background I made with a paper pad from Hunky Dory(  Hunkydory Dots to Diamonds Paper Pad 1 ). I added  Hunkydory Diamond Sparkles Gemstones  and some Stickles. Some of the dots I left blank. I didn't want to over due it. I wish you could see how beautifully this sparkles. The photo doesn't do it justice.  I used this paper pad previously, you can see it HERE if ...

Topflight Stamps - Happy New Year

Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  This week we focus on New Year cards.  Lets just hope  2021 will be better than 2020.... I started out with one page from the  Dots to Diamonds Paper Pad  for the background. I used  Blender Brushes  to create the ombre gradient. I stamped the little Zini on scrap paper twice and colored it with markers. I made it a bit taller than it is in real life. Fuzzy cut it. Stamped the sentiment on another piece of scrap paper and used it to cover up the  "defect" in my Zini. Added the gemstones. I hope you liked this! See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. Here are the stamp supplies I used: Use code  F UNSTAMPING   to get 12% discount at  Topflight Stamps .
