Hi Everyone, a quick post today with a CAS card or better two, although they were not quite as simple as they look.... I started out masking off a strip on the card and sponging in pink. Added the hippo in navy blue, but to my dismay it looks almost black. Added the sentiment in grey. Then I thought I give it another go with a lighter blue ink - same steps, except that this ink alos does not look navy. I did shift the hippo up a bit, so that I could fir two complete sentiments below it, but then I was unhappy with how it looked and added another sentiment on top. I actually like both versions, although the first one a tad better. Hi Everyone, I had to play with the current Fusion challenge - fell in love with the inspiration picture. And I figured my new stamp set from The Ton would be perfect for this. I won this on their recent birthday celebration. Love that set. It is just so pretty! I heat embossed the peonies with silver embossing powder onto white card stock. Colored it with water brush pens and fuzzy cut it. Glued it onto silver card stock and added the sentiment - also heat embossed. I love how this came out! Also added a Nuvo drop for balance. Hi Everyone, I finally had some time to play along at this month Muse Christmas Visions . We have Natasha Kara from I Dream in Color guest designing for us and she made this delightful little scene. Here is Natasha's card: You see how I got inspired: 3 things on my card, similar background, a stitched frame and some bling. The Santa gnome and cat are by Stampotique, the tree is Joy Clair, everything stitched is by CUTplorations and an embossing folder. Added lots of bling.  -This is just too much fun to let it pass by. Hi Everyone, I am slowly getting back into card making after coming back from vacation and 1 1/2 grueling weeks at work. How nice to have some time again and not being completely exhausted! Inspired by all the Little Things caught my attention - such a fun inspiration picture! You see how I got inspired - mainly by the black and white striped raincoat, the black umbrella and some pink splatters - its after all raining! I immediately thought of my iStencil collection when I saw the picture and picked one called PacMan Stacks  that I really like. I added pink splatters. The thanks is by CUTplorations and I die cut it twice. I took one of the rows and masked off the rest and sponged with black ink. I then took the opposite one and lined it up with the first row and did the same thing. Added some sequins and a left over strip of water colored paper. Hi Everyone, its inspiration time at  STAMPlorations ! This week we are featuring Deepti's stamp line Dee's Artsy Impressions. My stamp supplies: New Beginning I heat embossed the stamp onto white card stock with white embossing powder and sponged it, masking off parts of the stamp to keep ink from getting into areas where I don't want it. Cut it out and mounted it on a strip of dark blue card stock. Added the heat embossed sentiment and put it on a white card base. Added 4 sequins. Hi Everyone, to day we have a special feature at So Suzy Stamps - the wonderful  Tulip Background  stamp! Such an intricate stamp and full of possibilities, as you will see from all the fabulous cards the DT girls created! I myself made two cards out of one background. My stamp supplies: Tulip Background , Birthday Wishes , Love and Happiness I started out heat embossing the background in white onto water color paper. Sprinkled Bushos on it and spritzed with water: That's how it looked like: Move the color around with a brush and let it dry. Stamped again in black onto white card stock:  Lined up both panels and die cut a circle - you want to make sure the pattern lines up, otherwise it looks funny.... And that's what you get:  Backed up the water colored parts with fun foam and mounted them onto card stock Adding the heat embossed sentiments and some enamel dots. ...

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our 24th transatlantic get-together! We also have the talented Daria from My Creations joining us. This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: Pop Up Box Card I already did a practice run with my Spotlight card over at STAMPlorations, where I made a tutorial on how to do this. It is not quite as much work as you think it may be - otherwise I would not have made two of those.... I used my favorite bunnies from Impression Obsession, the grass is from Clearly Besotted, the small eggs (PP) are a balloon punch from which I trimmed the nipple off to make it look more like an egg. The big egg is a QuicKutz die. I used the water color paper I made for my spotlight...
