Katzelkraft - Merry Everything

Hi Everyone,

I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post.

Halloween is over - now its major Christmas card making season!

I first stamped the Christmas tree using my Misti. I first stamped it with peeled paint and then again, not inking up the entire stamp with rustic wilderness (distress oxide inks) . I stamped the penguin on a piece of scrap paper and cut it out after I lightly colored it. I brushed the background with distress inks. I added dots of Stickles to the tree. I added some snowflakes to the background. Heat embossed the sentiment, cut it out and added it.

The stamps I used are from the following set:

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. Suzanne's Surprise Blog Hop

Hi Everyone, I have a very special card for you today - a birthday card for Suzanne, the owner and talented force behind So Suzy Stamps! And we are celebrating this wonderful occasion with a special blog hop! You may have arrived from the wonderful Giada , our Italian contingent :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY Suzanne! I used the Blowing Butterflies (heat embossed in gold) and the Birthday Wishes to create my card. I cut myself a gold frame from glitter paper and added a water color wash. I opened the frame on the side to have the butterflies and color spill out. Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose.
