Crackerbox Stamps - New July Release

Hi Everybody!   Crackerbox Stamps  is having a new release. It is Harry Potter themed - there are probably a few Harry Potter fans out there! The previously released Harry Potter stamps are also on sale. What a feast!   Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below. I actually kept it more general with my card, apart from the sentiment. I stamped the castle and the sea serpent . Colored them with Copics. Masked them and sponged the background. Added super thick white embossing powder for the white water. Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and cut in in half. Trimmed the card with a stitched die and added the sentiment. The stamps I used: Sea Serpent Castle of Hogwarts Whats Life without Dragons I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Topflight Stamps - Visible Image

Hi Everyone, This week we are showcasing Visible Image stamps on the  Topflight blog .  And since August is almost over I thought a somewhat fall inspired card is appropriate.  I stamped the squirrel and log, made a mask for them and smooshed the background. Added the acorns and leaves. Colored them with Copics. Didn't really like my background. So I decided to add some sponging. Got some accidental black splatters on my card, but I didn't mind them, after all it has kind of a messy look anyhow. Added the sentiment. I also added some white accents to my squirrel to bring it better to life. Trimmed the card and added a strip of patterned paper to the side. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Nuts about Squirrels ,  Blender Brushes Blue Lagoon  ,  Canary Yellow Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  -  Tra...

Katzelkraft Calendar - August

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am having so much fun with my Katzelkraft calendar. I am sure you can tell.... August is dedicated to summer and not only humans like to eat water melon, but the rats and insects love it, too!  Now this big snake sneaked in somehow. It's not from Katzelkraft, but it is an old stamp by Hein Design. Unfortunately no longer produced. I wonder why. Such a great stamp - it actually comes in 3 pieces, the head, tail, a curved piece and a straight one. I did not use the straight one here. Anyhow with that you can make it any size and go in any direction. Pretty clever, right? The ants are by Cats on Appletrees. I started with the water melon, which I drew and colored with water colors. Cut it out. Sponged the background. I stamped the snake and rats, colored them with Copics and cut them out. The insect is stamped directly onto the background. Added the ants. Added white highlights.    The stamps I used are from the ...

Topflight Stamps - Christmas in July

Hi Everyone, This week it's Christmas in July on the  Topflight blog . As you see I could not stop making Christmas cards.....Ended up with a little pile. I go this awesome stamp by Paper Rose and it's so easy for mass producing cards! That usually is not something I aim for, but when it comes to Christmas I make an exception, LOL! I stamped the trees. Made myself a mask  for the ground and sponged above the mask on four of my cards.   Added water, white and black splatters on some of the cards. Stamped the sentiment. this set conveniently comes with sentiments in all different sizes in a very pretty font.
