    Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. And since it's October I thought a Halloween card is in order - boo! I used distress oxide inks for my background and smooshed them. I added the humanoids and treated them with bleach before I colored them with watercolors. I added the pumpkin (Stampers Anonymous) and some Washi tape as well as some water splatters. Hi Everyone, I finally had some time to play with my  Funky Fossil Designs  supplies again.   I used the Happy Hour stencil  and sponged with different distress inks. I masked the corners of the Martini glass. Other than that it was just simple sponging. used patterned paper as a frame. The sentiment is from Les Ateliers des Karine. Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day. For today's post I picked this wonderful stamp  ( Grunge Flowers  - 3) designed by Melina Dahl for That's Crafty.                      I made the background with my gel plate. I stamped the flower and colored it with water brush pens. I trimmed the background paper, stamped the sentiment.   This was super easy! I love the gel plate - you can create lots of backgrounds in little time. It's a lot of fun and you always have some backgrounds available when you need them. I hope you liked this! I masked the ground, penguin, hat and moon and sponged the background with distress inks. Colored with different media (water brush pens, markers). I added water and white splatters. The sentiment is from Funky Fossil designs ( Festive Phrases) . Added Washi tape to the bottom.   Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  We are featuring Halloween cards this week. Just my thing!                               I first stamped the moon in silver and heat embossed it. Probably was not the right way to start, but I got around that mistake. I masked it. I sponged my background. I then stamped all the animals and trees. The dragon I stamped with Staz-On ink, because of the heat embossing. Added white gel pen accents and water/bleach splatters.  It's Halloweenish enough, right? I hope you liked this! Hi Everyone, I have the honor to be guest designing for 52CCT ! It is a fun, year round Christmas challenge. This time its going to be a color challenge for the next two weeks. Although I think they confused Christmas with Halloween....But I did my best! Here are the colors for the challenge: I used the pretty new set from Funky Fossil called  Elegant Ornaments   for this CAS card. I first stamped teh bauble and then spritzed with Dylusion spray. Added the sentiment and some embellishments in gold as well as a gold string. To keep the modern vibe I added striped Washi tape at the bottom. I hope you liked this and perhaps you find time to play along ! I really like how this card turned out. And the unusual colors really grew on me! Happy Stamping!
