Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps - 2020

Hi Everybody,

Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below.

I had some fun with my Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps.

So far 2020 has been quite something and Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps expressed that quite accurately with this custom 2020 stamp that you can get in the store. I think it captures the essence of this year. I used the COVID-19 virus as cornerstones and created a frame, filling it with the dot splatter stamp  and grey sponging. I also used the technique of the month - using stamps as frame for this card.
In case you are wondering about that feisty little dog - it's from a different stamp company (Cats on Appletrees) and not available in the US. I am aware that I shouldn't mix stamp companies, but I simply could not resist ;)

Here are the 20% off stamp sale categories:
The August card technique is USE STAMPS FOR A FRAME .
Image may contain: text that says 'x o Cracherbor Suzy & Stamps rubberartstamps.com August Sale 20% OFF On stamp categories Babies Dinosaurs Fish No coupon code needed discount will be applied at checkout Free Shipping $45 US Orders $65 International く'

You can get $5.00 store credit once a week. Each month we will have several categories on sale for 20% OFF and a technique for that month. All you have to do is make a card with at least one stamp from the sales category and use the technique (in June its "stencil") and
Vicky will put $5.00 on your store account and leave you a comment that it is done. We can't wait to see your creative work!

Think your choice of this dog says it all, as does this fabulous image, 2020 has sucked and your card depicts it perfectly.

Du bringst es auf den Punkt und ich befürchte, die Karte kannst Du nächstes Jahr noch mal machen, mit geänderter Zahl.
Und warum soll man keine Stempel mischen? Ich mache das ständig!!

This is by far, bar none, my favorite card for 2020 by anyone anywhere, Cornelia! The 2020 is a fabulous says-it-all image all by itself, but having the dog pee on it is just brilliant!!!

What do you mean you shouldn't mix stamp companies? I think it's wonderful to show the love to as many as possible. Unless you mean if you are spose to be showcasing one company's product? I get that, I guess, but I still call this The Best Card of 2020!! I hope you're keeping well! Hugs, Darnell

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Suzanne's Surprise Blog Hop

Hi Everyone, I have a very special card for you today - a birthday card for Suzanne, the owner and talented force behind So Suzy Stamps! And we are celebrating this wonderful occasion with a special blog hop! You may have arrived from the wonderful Giada , our Italian contingent :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY Suzanne! I used the Blowing Butterflies  (heat embossed in gold)  and the Birthday Wishes  to create my card. I cut myself a gold frame from glitter paper and added a water color wash. I opened the frame on the side to have the butterflies and color spill out. Added lots of splatters and the heat embossed sentiment Your next stop on the hop is the talented Henriette - you are going to love her card! And just in case you get lost - below are all the participants listed. You even can get lucky and win a $20 gift certificate for So Suzy Stamps - sponsored by Justine and a  Bunkie Bag from Simply Charming Everyday, but you have to le...

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fiftee...
