Hi Everyone, As you may have seen the last few days, there is another new release coming into the shop at  Funky Fossil Designs !  Today is the fifth day of the stamp reveal. We are introducing " Festive Phrases".  I used one of the wonderful sheets of paper from the  Into the Blue paper pad .  I heat embossed the wonderful sentiment. I added the little deer and stars from the new set  Christmas Characters.  You will have to wait until tomorrow to see the entire set. Saturday will be the release day. We are introducing " Elegant Ornaments ".  I used two of the ornaments from the set. I heat embossed them both - one with white and one with clear embossing powder. Added the sentiment, which is from the same set - such a pretty font! Added splatters for more interest. You will have to wait until Saturday to see the entire set. Saturday will be the release day. Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps  day! I immediately fell for the inspiration picture from Inkspirational (see below) about Yayoi Kusama, a contemporary Japanese artist, who was supposed to exhibit this year at the New York Botanical Garden, but unfortunately the exhibit was cancelled, courtesy of COVID-19....  I literally had this beautiful octopus stamp now for years and it was still waiting to be inked up....Immediately thought of it and pulled it out of hiding.... I used watercolor paper and stamped the huge octopus on it. It really is enormous! It did not quite fit on my A2 card. But most of it did. Good enough. I colored it with water colors. I used a little strip of designer paper on the side and used the same paper to heat emboss the sentiment. Hi Everybody, Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below. I had some fun with my  Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps . While I sincerely hope you don't know anyone who is suffering severely from COVID-19, you still may know people who could get a little uplift and healing vibes. This pair of  COVID-19  viruses is in the store and they sure make a colorful background! I made myself a mask and sponged the viruses in rainbow colors. I know It's mostly displayed in grey with red spikes, but that is just one way of looking at it.....Colored the spikes with a red marker. We are introducing " Christmas Characters". As you probably guessed right, the stamps are carved by Donna Gray - my favorite stamp carver! I used one of the wonderful sheets of paper from the  Let it Snow paper pad.  I used gold embossing paste and the wonderful elegant tree stencil . As you can see, the paper works beautiful with the embossing paste. There was very little warping. I stamped the cute animals, colored them and fuzzy cut them. Added tiny gems to the tree. You will have to wait until Saturday to see the entire set. Saturday will be the release day. There will be five new sets! Hi Everyone, here is my weekly Katzelkraft post.  This is my last Llama card, at least for now - I think I need to use a different stamp set next time, LOL! My stamp supplies:   Les Lamas  -  KTZ230,  Accessoires  -  KTZ156  (FRANCE)   Llamas  -  KTZ230,   Accessories  -  KTZ 156   (USA) I stamped the llama. I used a stamp positioner to line up the crown. I colored with Inktense and water brush pens. The sentiment was a pain in the you know where....Its Tim Holtz dies. There are a total of 69 dies in that set - small caps, large caps, numbers and punctuation marks and they all were thrown together in one bag.....I took me forever to even sort them out, since its not immediately clear what letter it is or if it happens to be a number....I used double sided sticky tape on the back before I die cut them. That saved me......Still incredibly fiddly. Who knows if I ever will use them again. I am traumatized....but I have them now in alphabetical

We are introducing " Filigree Flakes" and Let it Snow paper pad.   I used one of the wonderful sheets of paper to heat emboss those gorgeous snowflakes. there are a couple of smaller ones on that set as well, that I did not use on this card. As you can see, the paper heat embosses beautifully. It also has a nice sheen to it! You will have to wait until Saturday to see the entire set. Saturday will be the release day. Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  This week's focus is on Darkroom Door Background Stamps. I used this wonderful butterfly background by  Darkroom Door  stamps. I used the iron-off ink resist technique. I used watercolor paper. I inked the stamp with Versamark and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Sponged ink in rainbow colors over the butterflies. The heat embossing resists the ink. I took a second piece of cardstock and placed it onto the inked up one and used my iron, to iron off the embossing powder and transfer it to the second cardstock. There is a wonderful video by Jennifer McGuire that you can watch HERE . She explains it much better than I do.... Added the big butterfly and the sentiment. And here is the second card I got out of this:  You can see a bit of the rainbow colors, that transferred over. Used black soot distress ink to sponge  over the background. Hi Everyone, as you all know, Wednesday is Katzelkraft day on my blog.  I had this Llama set now for quite a while and I made a bunch of llama cards, that I showed the previous weeks. You are going to see one more Llama cards next week. I hope you don't get tired of them... ;)  My stamp supplies:   Les Lamas  -  KTZ230  (FRANCE)   Llamas  -  KTZ230    (USA) I stamped the llama. I colored with Inktense and water brush pens. The sentiment is from a Create a Smile set and doctored it a bit.  Gave the llama some ground to stand on..... Added striped designer paper to the bottom and a ribbon. Hi Everyone, I am playing with the new release stamps from  Funky Fossil Designs !  I totally love this Geo bug stamp set - it is just so unique. And I guess I am also in love iwth insects - they seem to be hip right now! Geo Bugs I inked up one of the bugs with Versamark and heat embossed it in white. I used Brusho for the background and colored the bug with water brush pens. Stamped the sentiment. Trimmed the card and added patterned paper on the bottom.  I hope you liked this.  Happy Stamping!
