STAMPlorations Christmas Release Blog Hop - Day 4

Hi Everyone,

today is the last day of STAMPlorations fabulous Christmas Release Blog Hop.

Today we are featuring the new dies.
My first two cards are made with the new cover plate and dies:

I die cut the plate using black card stock that I had "treated" with ScorTape. I stuck it onto white card stock and colored in the rest with Finetec Mica colors.

For my second card I used the ScorTape backing as a mask and used another piece of ScorTape. Added gold Micro Glitter. Burnished the glitter onto the tape, lifted the mask and added black micro glitter. Colored the candles and bow with Copics.

For my first Christmas Blessings card I used a background made with black card stock and Fireworks sprays. The word die I cut out from a different part of my background paper.  Added the Winter Landscape Die and some glitter Washi tape on the side. Also added white gel pen accents to the die to make it more prominent.

For my second card I used the deer mask and brushos. After it dried I went around the deer mask with a fineliner pen. I then used the deer stencil and sponged the deer to make it stand out more. Added Washi tape at the bottom.

For my first card I used the new Mistletoe set. Stamped it with Versamark and heat embossed it in clear. Stamped the outline leaves in green and sponged. Added the red berries with additional Stickles. Glitter Washi on top and at the bottom.

For my last card I used my favorite set - Woodland Friends, lightly colored those darling animals and added Washi tape at the bottom.

You can't miss this hop - the DT created the most amazing cards!

You should be ready for Christmas now with all these gorgeous cards. Since I'm a die junkie, I love the way you've used them here. (Actually forgot you could color glitter...good reminder.) Each one of the cards reflects how clever your mind works (I really need to borrow it).

Katzelkraft - Stampotique Raven

Hi Everyone, Do you know that   Katzelkraft has aquired Stampotique stamps? This fun raven is designed by Daniel Torrente (#6314). I used an old background from my stashs.  I stamped the bird and colored it with alcohol ink markers.  I brushed distrss ink onto the background and added some pattern with the   Mandala Magic stencil  from Funky Fossil Designs.I used one of the border stamps on the left for more interest.  Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment.Added a googly eye to the bird and drew in some eye lashes.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Spiral Borders - KTZ286,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Spiral Borders  - KTZ286 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! I opened the frame on the side to have the butterflies and color spill out. Added lots of splatters and the heat embossed sentiment Your next stop on the hop is the talented Henriette - you are going to love her card! Some more Christmas Cards...

Hi Everyone, there still are some Christmas cards  I made awhile ago and have not yet posted.... This one I made for the  Runway Inspired Challenge . The inspiration photo is below. I found it a little tricky to make this into a Christmas card, but with the help  of Neat&Tangled stamps it worked....The stitched dies are by Simon Says. Added some Washi tape on top (the headdress) and silver glitter paper at the bottom (the floor and silver shoes) and voila a Christmas card! My second card I made with an iStencil, gold embossing paste, faux pearls, an enamel dot and lots of splatters. The stitched die I cut the Kraft panel with is by Simon Says. I love this stencil and stenciled cards are just so quick and easy to make. I used this one for several cards this year, on of which you can see HERE . http://www.istencils.com/store/products/22-00029 I am linking up this card with: Stamps and fun=Creativity - Christmas U...
