STAMPlorations Inspiration #136

Hi Everyone, its inspiration time at  STAMPlorations ! This time I played with Shirley Bampton's stamp line  The Bees Knees . My stamp supplies: Folk Flowers , Groovy Shoes , Stitched Nesting dies When you see this card you might be reminded about Ardyth from MASKerade and you are right - I CASEd one of her cards for her birthday celebration over at the Muse . This is the card I choose to basically blatantly CASE copy: You can see I made only very minor changes - colored in some of the leaves to get more of a rainbow color scheme (Ardyth likes to do that) and added glitter to my glossy accents centers. Spared myself the black frame, but used the stitched die  instead. Use  code STAMPGIRLCORNELIA to get 20% off on all stamps, stencils, and dies on all regular- and sale-priced items in the store. So Suzy Martini Lady

Hi Everyone,  I like this elegant  Martini Lady  from So Suzy Stamps - I have used her before HERE and HERE . I also think she pairs very well with that iStencil - don't you think so? So here are my supplies: Sparkle all Day ,  Martini Lady , iStencil Here is how I made my card: Stamped the Martini Lady with black ink, using my Misti to get a nice even black impression. Used a mask I had made before and kept with my stamp and then stamped the sentiment. Took the stencil and some glue and dabbed it onto the card and  added glitter.  Finished the card with a strip of polka dotted glitter paper at the bottom and an enamel dot. Hope you liked this! Mazel Tov!

Hi Everyone, my neighbor needed another Bat Mitzvah card and I needed some inspirations, which I got for the gorgeous picture from Inspired by all the Little Things . Here is that picture - isn't it gorgeous? As you can see, I basically went with those bottles and ignored the flowers.... I used my peony dies from The Ton - those are my favorite flower dies. The sentiment is a concoction of Paper Smooches, Impression Obsession and Winnie & Walter. Added shimmery gold splatters with my Fine Tech Mica water colors. I am so happy with this creation! Faux Cut-across Die Cutting

Hi Everyone, You may have seen those word dies where you can cut across the entire card and add different types of paper either on top or at the bottom and have the word in a contrasting color in between. I thought I can re-create that with a regular word die. So, curious on how I made this card? Go and visit the STAMPlorations Blog to find out - I have a photo tutorial there for you. Remember if you try out any of the techniques from our Spotlight posts and  hook your project up at our  Spotlight Project Showcase   you have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate (random drawing) OR your choice of 5x7 stamp set + a Spotlight Project guest designer spot (randomly drawn from the Top 3 picks). Skipping Stones Design - Funny Coffee

Hi Everyone, I am over at the  Skipping Stones Design blog  today with my card, using this fun set called Funny Coffee There is a lot of great images in this set and really fun sentiments: I colored the coffee cup with water brush pens and fuzzy cut it. The sentiment on the second cup is from Dandelions Dreams . I stamped the coffee rings.  I then repeatedly stamped the "Happy Birthday" as background in Versamark ink and heat embossed it. Added the "spills" with a Tim Holtz stencil.  Added a thin strip of PP on the bottom. I hope you liked this! Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Stamp, Ink, Paper  - card makers choice (I love to make CAS cards) - its their 100 challenge - congratulations - time to celebrate! Seize the Birthday - something sweet (coffee always sweetens my day) AAA Cards - embossing (heat embossed the background stamp)

Urban

Hi Everyone, I like the theme at Inkspirational - its URBAN. Time to pull out one of my iStencils.... I first sponged the background and then added the stencil - all with distress inks.  Then I stamped the sentiment ( STAMPlorations ). I trimmed the sides a tad and added a strip of navy blue card stock Hope you liked this - happy stenciling! Linking up with: Inkspirational - Urban Stamp, Ink, Paper  - card makers choice (sponging)

Guest Designing for CASology

Hi Everyone, I am so excited to have the opportunity to be GDT at CASology ! What an honor! Take a guess - what do you think the cue word is????? You got it! I used a YNS set for this and made myself a stencil from a die. I masked the little bomb and sponged the background. Colored the bomb with Copics and added the sentiment I had a ton of fun to make this. I am sure you will have a lot of fun joining in ! Can't wait to see what you will create! Happy LOUD stamping!
